The elevator plunged deeper. Y/n was a nervous wreck. Her E/c pupils glanced at the floor. Her thoughts were jumbled like a four year old mushed them together. All Y/n knew about paranormal stuff was the killings at that pizzaria in town and the dissapearances of the nightguards. (Foreshadowing?) The doors slid open, and Y/n walked out into the hall. Y/n plodded to the containment chamber of SCP-049. Thankfully, the zombies were gone and people were watching over the SCP. When Y/n came into eyesight, 049's piercing amber eyes bored into your face.
"Oh, hey!" one scientist said when he noticed her.
"Hi, are you the team I'm working with?"
"Yes, we are! I'm the leader Dr. Arrowhead, but you can call me Arrow."
"Okay. I'm Y/n."
Y/n and Arrow shook hands while 049 glared at their hands touching.
"You're the interviewer, so we have some cards and on these, there are questions! When you're done, you can talk to 049 until the end of the workday!"
"O-Okay!" she gave him a nervous smile. Arrow talked into the microphone. "SCP-049, please enter the room in your chamber."
049 complied, while Y/n walked to the door with two guards doing their thing. The metal door slid open, and Y/n stepped inside.
"Ms. Y/n and SCP-049, please sit at the table in the middle of the room."
This room was very dark, lights illuminating only a few parts of the room. It was also very cold, probably because of 049's tolerance. Y/n sat down on the opposite side of 049.
"Well, hello. Good doctor." This sent a shiver down Y/n's spine.
Y/n pulled out the cards in her pocket.
"W-What era are you from?"
"Well, 15-16th century. What year is it?"
"2019."
"Well, time rather speeds by, doesn't it?" God, that was farther from the truth for Y/n. She wanted to leave.
"Yes, yes it does."
"Next question. How do you eat?"
"Well, this mask isn't covering all my face."
"Next question. Were you, or currently are, human?"
"Maybe. The mask hasn't come off before."
"Well, that is all the questions."
"Uhm.." Y/n pulled her shirt collar with her finger, breaking out in a cold sweat.
"You're quite beautiful when you're nervous."
Y/n widened her eyes.
"What..?"
"Nothing."
Y/n gulped.
She didn't have feelings for this person. She didn't have feelings for anyone.
