Y/n = Your Name
E/c = Eye Color
Y/n jolted up from her bed, terrified. She had another nightmare for the.. what, 10th time in a row? It was hard to tell in the early morning. Early sunshine peeked through their window, with sea blue curtains blocking some more sunshine. Y/n's e/c eyes looked around through their messy room. Clothes were in a large pile in a corner, and a TV with a beanbag on the side. She'd lived in this old apartment for their whole adult life. 'Time to get out of bed, and find one more job..' Y/n thought. They jumped out of their bed, and grabbed some formal clothes for a job interview. They put on their black and grey clothes in their bathroom, and brushed her hair. Y/n put on her black military boots, and ran out the door.
Y/n was a introverted woman, about her early twenties. She'd spend her free time reading self inserts, listen to true crime podcasts, and just laze around. Y/n was also kind of pretty. She liked being alone because people catcalled her. She balanced a job of being a barista at a not so popular coffeehouse, but they could live off it. She didn't have any hours, but she could go to the house anytime and work. Y/n needed a more concrete job. She also had a boyfriend.
Y/n was too deep in her thoughts to notice a even more formally dressed person running up to her.
"Hey!" the man barked at the lost Y/n.
"Huh?"
"Do you need a job? More info on this card." The man gave Y/n a card. It was the size of her palm, as with most business cards. It had a strange logo on it. SCP. Secure. Contain. Protect. is what it said with a address on it. The man jogged away into the bushes. 'Weird..' she thought. Y/n put the neat card in her jeans pocket. "Hmm.." she hummed emotionlessly. Y/n jogged back to her small apartment.
Y/n stared at the card on the wooden table. "I just might accept this job.." she thought. Her laptop was on the other side of the table. Y/n slid it over, opened the top, and opened the browser. She types in S. C. P. and gets over 1000 results. The main one is called SCP FOUNDATION. Y/n clicks on the blue text, and is brought with some instructions. It read, CODE ON BUSINESS CARD. Y/n examined the card. The only thing on the card was the address, and the logo. She input the address and is now in a spanning webpage. The main page read,
SCP is fictional. (and in tiny font says, 'Is it?') And is written by normal people. There is more than 4000 now! and more info. She'd had enough information. Y/n was so excited! This was like the reader inserts she'd read! Y/n ran into her car, and drove to the address. It was up in the mountains, which means it was secluded. Her crappy car parked in the parking lot. She parked her car, and got out of the car. The same man walked out of the entrance, and greeted her. He was carrying a scientist lab coat. He tossed it to her. "Here." Y/n put it on, and searched her pockets. There was a Level One Keycard, with her name on it.
"How did you get my name?" Y/n asked.
"We are a powerful foundation. Come into the building. I will show you around."
(TIME SKIP Brought to you by the Author!) (Few minutes later)
"Here is your Safe Class SCP. It is SCP-500. It is a pill that heals anything, and is very limited."
"Okay—" Y/n was pushed into the short hall and the door slid closed.
The door on the end of the hall didn't have a button, but the door on the side did. She entered the door, and was greeted by her new office. There was a little storage room in the back, too. Y/n plopped herself into the chair.
(Another TIME SKIP by about.. three hours?)
Y/n was half asleep when her boyfriend texted her. He texted,
'its over.'
Y/n texted,
'hm, why?? emoji bomb cheese emoji'
'im seeing another person'
'okay fine bye boi wave emoji wave emoji'
Y/n deleted his contact info. She had a lot to process.
