YES!!!
I'm finally done cleaning the second-floor bathroom. This is the last room that I have to clean so now I get to go home to see my little baby
I have been working here for the past 6 months and you don't know how grateful I am, even if it means cleaning bathrooms. I would honestly clean 100 bathrooms 24/7 as long as it means I get to put a roof over Abi's head
I walk out the room and grab my purse and head straight out the door since I'm so eager to see Abi
I left the house really early this morning so she was still fast asleep
I swear a tornado could come and swallow up the house and this little girl would still be sleeping
When I have to work my best friend Lily comes over to babysit. Lily and I have been best friend's since forever probably from even in diapers. Whenever I look back in my life she was always there for me
I pay and get out of my cab that I had called for and make my way up to my apartment.
My apartment is on the 6th floor which I'm not really too happy about
I know I know
It's not really that high up but I just hate heights. I wouldn't want to live on the ground floor because that could become really annoying
I once had this apartment on the first floor once and it was the first apartment that you would see once you walk in. Every time someone needed directions to a friend or family apartment they would always knock on my door and that would piss me off so much because hoe the fuck am I supposed to know what apartment Mr.Ling lives in.
I never lived in one of those fancy apartments where you could just go up to the secretary desk or ask a doorman cause I could never afford all that
I come off on the 6th floor and unlock my apartment
"Honey I'm home"
"MOMMY" Abigail screams as she comes running over to me
"Hey baby, how was your day today," I say to her as I pick her little body up
"It was great I woke up then brushed my teeth then showered then ate breakfast that aunt lily made me then watched tv then made cookies," she tells me
I automatically cringe at how much she uses the word "then"
"That's great baby, where is your aunt lily?"
"She's in the kitchen" she gets out of my arms and runs back to the kitchen
I wash up and then join them in the kitchen
It's days like this that I absolutely enjoy because I just love feeling like a happy family
Even though there's no father I'm happy and grateful for what I have
