Ingrediants:
•chicken-500 grams
•onion-1
•tomato-2
•ginger-1 inch
•garlic pods-5
•dried red chillies- 7
•turmeric powder-1/2 tspn
•coriander powder-1/2 tspn
•garam masala-1/2 tspn
•pepper-1/2 tspn (optional)
•fennel seeds -1/2 tspn
•curry leaves
•coriander leaves
•salt
•oil
•water
•banana leafProcedure:
1)boil chicken along with onion+tomato+ginger+garlic+dried red chillies+salt+turmeric powder+water for 20 minutes.
2)separate chicken from the mixture.sieve all the boiled vegetables.
3)grind vegetables+fennel seeds+coriander leaf in to fine paste.
4)heat oil in a pan. Add grinded mixture. Cook for 2 minutes. Then add chicken pieces + garam masala+coriander powder+salt+pepper (optional. Add if more spiciness required). Cook this for 5-10 minutes.
6)take a banana leaf. Add cooked chicken to it.fold from four sides. Secure it with a thread. And cook it in a low flame for 2o minutes. 10 minutes on each side.
Yummy hot chicken fry in banana leaves ready. Enjoy with chapati/naan.
