He sat there and played for almost 2 hours already. Jackson and Jay were really lucky today. They kept getting epic and legendary guns. He and Jay had a really fun day and they had to stopped calling so Jackson can go down and eat dinner with his mom. He walked downstairs as he inhaled the smell of the wonderful meals that his mom had cooked.

He took out the bowls, spoons and forks and he set up the table. The table was like a round-shape table, with wood material and a cloth above it so they food and water wouldn't hurt the table. He push the 3 chairs that was underneath the table out to sit and his mom bring out the food. He sat down but also called down his little sister, Destiny Williams.

"Hi Jackson!" she said in a weird tone, not the tone that you said with every other days, "What are we having today?" Jackson and his mom were silent for a moment, wondering what is wrong with her but his mom continue.

"Well we have Ratatouille, Salmon tartare and garlic bread. Just some basic French food." she said, "Also your favorite, honey!" They sat down and enjoyed the meal. Half way through, Destiny spoke up again.

"Mom... Can I ask you something?" she said. Jackson's mom began to feel dizzy. Her face was really pale and her eyes weren't blinking at. It felt like the day had come. So she swallowed her saliva and said in a soft voice.

"Yes you can honey." she said. Destiny's face still has a frown on it but it did lit up her soul again. "What happened to dad, mommy? Where had he been?"

Her mom put down her bowl and looked at Destiny. She was thinking really hard. Should she lie to her daughter again? Or should she tell her the truth? She made her decision. She couldn't tell her now, she is too young to know the truth. "Your dad is somewhere abroad for work, honey" she stated boldly, "He wouldn't be back for like 9 months or longer."

"Why is that so mommy?" she asked frowning "Why can't he come home today? Or maybe like next month?!"

"Um... because... er..." her mom murmured. She doesn't know what to answer as she looked at Destiny's worrisome look on her face. "Look, it's almost 7 o'clock. You two can go upstairs and take a shower or do your homework. Let me clean this up after you're done."

Destiny still believed that her mom is hiding something from her but she listened to her anyway. After they are done with dinner, she pushed the chair out and she took the teddy bear, that was laying on the handle of the sofa, with her upstairs. Jackson stayed in the kitchen, to clean up with his mom. They cleaned together but there was no word that are spoken up. It was complete silent.

Jackson already knew this when he was 8. Right after his mom gave birth to Destiny, she realized that her husband had cheated on her for more than 4 months and she never noticed it. She wanted him to fill the divorce form but he left the house before she could give him. Now, she is a mom with 2 kids and no husband.

Jackson also went upstairs after him put the dishes into the dishwasher. He jumped on his bed and texted Jay. But he was not available for that moment, so he went off to watch a movie. His favorite movie at the time was 'Love, Simon.' He just loved how Simon had got his true love, after so many years, trying to hide his sexuality.

He watched for like a half of the movie then a doorbell rang. "Jackson, can you get the door please?" his mom said from downstairs. He got up and walked out of the room. He looked through the peephole and he saw Jay and Kate. 'What are they doing here?' he wondered.

He opened the door to let them in but he was a little confused. So Kate asked "Jackson, why do you look so confused?"

"Because I am," he said "What are you guys doing here?"

"Ohh my... I want to slap you right now." Kate said with her furious, eyebrow-look. "You ask us to come over for a sleepover. Ohh myy goosshhh, Jackson!!"

"Oh yeah!! I forgot, sorry." he said with one hand padding his head, "Well, let's come upstairs and do something fun."

"Oh.. 'Fun'. That sounds nice." Jay said with his 4 little fingers doing the quotation marks with a very, creepy smile.

"No Jay, no!" both of us said as we got all the stuff in and went upstairs.

Ohh his father is a jerk :)) I'm jk xD but did you enjoyed this chapter? I know it's a little bit rough for Destiny but... yeah.... what come have to come. Anyway, hope you enjoy this chapter and also the whole book.
