Jackson Williams raised his head up as he reached his hand out to the alarm clock, which is standing on top of the square table next to his bed. His eyes were half closed, half opened. He stretched his arms and legs and he turn sideway to get out of bed. He walked to the curtains with his long, pajamas suit. Even though he's 16, he still has a very pure and childish soul.
He spread the curtains apart to let the dark but still dim sunlight to come in. It was in the middle of Christmas break so it was still snowing. He turned his neck so he can have a view at the birds, which are sitting inside its net on the tree branch close together, trying keep each other warm.
Jackson is a very creative boy. He wanted to be a singer in the future and he was trying to improve his singing skills. He let out a small sigh as he turned 180 degrees to head toward the bathroom. He turned on the light with his soft hand. He stood in front of the mirror, looking at the messy hair.
"Gosh, I look horrible" he said to himself, "I will never get a girlfriend." He carefully fixed his hair and also brush his teeth. His hair is now fluffy, a little messy on purpose, along with his light brown eyes. He turn the light and closed the door. Then he walked downstairs to make his breakfast. As he walked down, his mom who is reading newspaper, unfold it to look at her son.
"Hey sweetie" his mom said, "Are you enjoying your Christmas break?" He let out a smile to let her know that she already know the answer. "Do you want anything for breakfast?"
"Nah, I'm just going to eat cereal" he reply, "Thank you for asking mom." He took out a bowl and pour some cereal in. He then opened the fridge to take the milk out and pour it in, along with the cereal. He took a spoon and he dipped it inside the milk.
"Hey! You have to shower Lexie today!" his mom stated boldly, before he goes upstairs again. "I know that mom," he replied back while rolling his eyes, "you said that two weeks ago and yesterday too."
"Just saying." she rolled her eyes back at him because she accepted the fact that she like to repeat the same thing over and over until it's done. Jackson got up to his room and sat down on his chair, with his Macbook facing 120 degrees in front of him. He opens Netflix to watch Kissing Booth, as well as eating his breakfast.
He was having fun with the movie. "Gosh she is so beautiful," he said "He's such a lucky guy." He continue watching the movie until his best friend called. He stopped the movie so he can answer his call. "Hey there, Jay Tillman."
"Dude! Why are you calling me that?" Jay yelled over the call of how he is so amazed that his friend called him by his full name.
"Ok I'm sorry." Jackson said, laughing. "So how are you doing, bro?"
"Great! Hey dude, do you want to play Fortnite with me?" Jay said. Jay is a gamer and he is so obsessed with Fortnite, a game that Jackson is not really good at but can play well.
"Sure, let me go get my mouse." Jackson replied, "I don't know why you are so obsessed with that game."
"Oh cmon, don't be so out of trend." Jay said "Every kids in America loved to play this game. Now, let's get into it." Jay is Jackson's best friend since they met in primary school. He has blonde hair with bright, blue eyes that always attract the girls at their school.
Jackson got his mouse and they both are ready to play. They played as a team but Jackson never got a chance to stay at the last team. He always died before Jay won. They began to drop out of the starting point at the same time. Fell down at the same spot to get the best gun they can have and go shoot the others to get Victory Royale, which is #1 place for those who are not gamers.
They killed 2 teams as the rest are eliminating each other. It came to the time that only his team left with another team. Jackson tried his best not to die so he can help out Jay. They shot and shot for minutes, both of them are concentrated so bad that their eyes aren't blinking as much as normal. The enemies got down a low bar of health, Jackson and Jay do the 360 degree challenge and shot them. Yes, Jackson got the Victory Royale this time! He had never felt so happy before, playing this game.
"Dude! That was a good game." Jay said and Jackson nodded. "You wanna do another match?"
"You're on." Jackson let out a smirk to tells Jay that he might get the Victory Royale again.
