~ Friday 8:00 In The Morning ~
~ Marinette's P.O.V. ~

~ Ring Ring Ring ~

"Ugh!" I groaned, laying in bed. I rolled onto my back, and put my arm over my face. I sat there for a minute, then finally sat up. I had my eyes closed while searching for my phone. I blindly moved my hand on my nightstand, to find my phone. I felt a rectangular object, I grabbed it. I held it up to my face, and opened my eyes.

I looked at my phone to see Adrien's gorgeous face. I smiled to myself and looked up at the time. It was 8:05! School started in twenty minutes. I take about an hour to get ready. I jumped out my bed and went to the bathroom.

I brushed my teeth, and washed my face. I ran to my closet and grabbed my usual clothing. I grabbed a white undershirt with flowers at the top. A black jacket type thing, with white inside and pink dots as well. I also grabbed my pink pair of jeans. I bent down to the bottom of there closer, to grab my pink flats, that fit perfectly. I got dressed quickly, making sure I get to school on time.

I grabbed my phone to see that it was 8:20. I had five minutes to get to school. I grabbed my purse, and opened it. I went over to my sleeping kwami. I poked her small head, a little.

"Marinette?" She asked, rolling on her back and stretching her arms.
"Got to go to school, I'm gonna be late." I said, grabbing her and placing her gently in my purse.

I went downstairs and grabbed a couple of cookies. Some for me, and some for Tikki. I kissed my parents cheeks, and told them goodbye. I then left of our families bakery,
and ran to school.

~ At School, of course late. ~

"Alya~!" I yelled out, to the ombré haired girl standing in front of the school. She turned around and sighed.
"Late... again! You need to set your alarm earlier, girl." Alya said, putting her hands on her hips.
"I know, I know... but today is the day!" I said, happily, smiling at the ombré.
"Is it! I didn't even realize." Alya said, jumping up and down, slightly. I nodded in response to her.
"Well, come on, Ms. Bustier will kill us if we are super late." Alya said, grabbing onto my arm and dragging me.
"Ok!" I said, following her to the classroom.

We walked into the classroom to see Ms. Bustier looking at us. She had her arms crossed and her foot was tapping the ground. She also had her brows furrowed, and her eyes were half shut.

"If you girls are gonna be late, please tell me." Ms. Bustier said, glaring into our eyes.
"Yes Ma'am!" Me and Alya said in sync.

We started walking to our seats behind the boys. I walked past Adrien, and he smiled at me. I smiled back, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear. I blush lightly, as I take a seat next to Alya. I zoned out during class, thinking about what I'm going to say to Adrien. I started to second guess myself about telling him, but I can't I've waited to long. So today is the day I tell him.

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng!" I heard Ms. Bustier yell at me. I yelped and looked at her.
"Please pay attention..." She said, returning. To her lesson.

~ After School ~

"Hey girl! Ready to go ask him." Alya said, leaning on my shoulder. "Better ask him before he leaves." She teased, and pushed me towards him. I glared at her, before turning and walking towards Adrien.
"A-Adrien!" I stuttered, fiddling with my fingers.
"Yes Marinette?" The blonde asked, looking into my eyes.
"C-Can I-I t-talk to you in p-private, please?" I asked, barely finishing my sentence.
"Sure..." He said, walking towards a secluded area. When we got there, I looked around to make sure no one was close by. Once I made sure, I looked over at Adrien.

"I-I w-wanted t-to tell you s-something..." I started, looking up into his emerald eyes.
"Y-You are the s-sweetest, kindest, generous, and the most g-gorgeous guy I-I know. And ever since
y-you g-gave me that b-black umbrella,
m-my f-feelings t-towards y-you have
c-changed. And I g-guess what I'm t-trying to say is... I-I L-Love Y-You!" I finished, looking down at my feet. There was silence for a minute, before Adrien said,
"Marinette..." He said, I looked up to see his face. "I-I'm sorry I like someone else." He said, not making eye contact with me.
"O-Oh..." I said, my eyes threatening to release tears.
"Are you ok?" The blonde asked, moving his hand to place on my shoulder.
"Y-Yeah, I'm ok..." I said, moving away from his hand. I'm not ok...
"I-I have to go." I choked out before running away.

I heard Adrien call out my name.
But I didn't listen.
I saw the whole class looking at me from the front of the school.
I didn't care.
I just had one thing in my mind...
Run!
