The feeling of falling in love with your best friend may be the best or worst feeling ever. Watching them fall in love with somebody else is another story. You pretend to be happy for them, because that's your job as their best friend, their happiness means everything to you. Then, watching them get their heart broken, thinking about how you'd never hurt them. Comforting them and making them feel better just to watch them love someone else. They tell you how happy you make them and how glad they're to have you as a friend. You sacrifice your own happiness so they'll stay happy. You try and find someone who makes you feel just as good, but nobody compares to them. You're too deep in love and you're falling, no one is there to catch you once you hit the ground. One day, they'll eventually get hurt again. You saw this as an opportunity, this is your moment to confess. You tell them how you feel. However they don't take your feelings into consideration, you're just a friend in their eyes. Now, you lost the love of your life and best friend.

That's kinda what happened with you and Brian, your roommate. Despite the awkward encounters and mild conversations, things finally started looking up when you met Jae.

Upon the arrival of your roommate, giggles echoed throughout the dorm. Brian has his lil midnight shenanigans, but who are you to judge? You had little to no interest in his indoor 'activities'. However, you were jealous over the fact he dicked down some snob rather than you, just a tad bit. Quickly forcing in some earbuds, you put your band's playlist on shuffle. Yes, you're in a band, unbelievable, right? The name of the band? Yeah, you weren't creative enough to choose one. Yet again, all you do is cry over dog commercials and dramas, so how creative could you possibly be? You scrolled through your phone, distracting yourself from Brian's 'high class yoga session'. In all honesty, your roommate hit a new low, it truly devastated you. His 'coping method' consisted of a couple of drinks and vulnerable women. Nevertheless, he wasn't your problem anymore. Growing bored of your phone, you decide to head out for some fresh air. It wasn't as late as you thought. Besides, grabbing a quick snack wouldn't hurt. Slipping on a sweater, not caring to look presentable, you ever-so-gently open your bedroom door. Just enough to get a good look at the living room. You scanned the area before tiptoeing your way over to the front door, quickly grabbing your keys before heading out. Obnoxious laughter and creaking filled the dorm, startling you."OHHH BRIANN!" A squeaky voice yelled. "omgomgokayimgoingnow" you whispered to yourself in utter disgust. Carefully shutting the door, you smile to yourself; satisfied. You know, that could've gone a lot worse. Weirdly enough, the voice belonging to his 'yoga instructor' seemed kinda familiar, but you didn't think much of it.

Approaching the store, your eyes beam with joy. The annoying neon lights gave you a headache, but oh well. As you step into the store, the cashier greets you, you flash them a smile. After roaming around, you settle for a bag of chips. Heading over to the register, you couldn't help but notice the cashier struggling with a customer. "Bro I'm just trying to buy a can of soda, what do you mean my card was declined?" the customer clicks his tongue in frustration. "Yo I'm telling ya- I have money" he exclaimed. "Your card says otherwise." The cashier sighed. You search your pockets, in hopes of finding spare cash. You pulled out a $5 bill, pleased with the amount, you head over to the male and tap his shoulder. He swiftly turns around, and omg- if he isn't the most adorable little dork ever you don't know who is. "I uh, here." You held out the cash, urging him to take it, before rushing back to your spot in line. Charity work at its finest.

After paying, you head out the store only to be greeted by him.  "Hey, I'm really sorry about tha-" You cut him off. "Don't worry about it, keep the change." He looked at you, shocked by your response. "Nono, I'll pay you back. You got a pen?" You shook your head. "Give me your phone." You hesitated before handing him your phone, besides; he couldn't even pay for a can of soda, You wouldn't be surprised if he attempted to rob you. His thumbs move quickly across the screen, whilst typing in a number. Which you're assuming is his. "Here's my number." He gave you a reassuring smile before handing you your phone back. "You're paying me back by giving me your phone number?" You cocked a brow. "No- I uh" He stuttered, flustered. You couldn't help but grin at his reaction, eventually you both laugh off the situation and part ways.

You step into your apartment without a second thought, too busy daydreaming about the broke bitch you met earlier. Closing the door behind you, you turn around only to see a naked figure lingering around your living room, without taking another glance, you covered your eyes. "MY MISTAKE-" you shout, absolutely terrified. "Y/n?" The voice questioned. "Huh?" You open your eyes only to see your sibling, Y/s/n. It only took you a matter of seconds to realize what was going on.

"OH MY GOD KANG YOUNG-HYUN"
