Rumi incident |

" What do you want from me! " I exclaimed.

I was in primary 5 and students from the upper secondary started to bully her. I was just an innocent girl just like others.

" Rumi, Rumah! " One of the bullies shouted from the back.
They started to ask for money and I said that I did not have any.

A/n Rumah ; house in Malay.

" I thought you had $10 on you? Eh, don't lie lah. Don't act your poor and all ok. " the leader of the bully team said.

Oh no, it was at that time they took out my money.

" Haha, what's this? Paper? " The leader sarcastically said.

They took out my money from my wallet which was in my pocket. I swore and they looked at me. I froze too.

I went back home and saw Rumi sitting down with Manse. Rumi was down and Manse went to her to hug her. I had the initiative and sat next to them.

" Okay, I won't scold you but just tell me what happened ? " I told Rumi.

Then, Rumi started explaining the scene. I was in culture shock because from what I heard, the school was very respectful and responsible towards anything that happens. But for this case, it was not what I expected from the school. Then, I went to school to report to the principal about the incident. Luckily the principal, Ms  Loon was still there until 7.00p.m.

Knock, knock. I knocked on the principals office. " Come in, " the principal welcomed us in.

" Basically, from what I heard was really scary. " I told Ms Loon.

" What do you mean? Today, I haven't heard any news. " Ms Loon said shockingly.

" Oh wow, the students did not report to you? " I said sarcastically.

" Yes. " She replied back.

I was shocked. I did not knew the teachers did not see the incident or knew about it at all. I guess the students were scared to inform about it.

Back home, I comforted Rumi because she looked really scared. At least the principal knows about it and can take action against bullying. As I comforted Rumi, she talked about it and let out all her feelings out. At that moment, I hoped it would not happen again and the students will learn from their mistakes.
