there are nights that i scream
so loud it could probably reach your town
i do my best to stop so i cover my mouth
so tight that sometimes i bit my own fingers
i wish i could do that every time
cause that would've stopped me from saying things i didn't mean
like the words 'please leave me alone'
but in reality all i ever wanted
was to have someone sit by my side
