I'll Never Forget You

Ben has been busy with his usual kingly duties and Mal has been busy with teaching art classes. They rarely ever get to see each other.

One day Mal was walking to her classroom when she saw Ben talking to another girl.  He had been hanging around this girl for a particularly long time( two weeks to be exact). She was about to go ask Ben who that girl was but she had already been 10 minutes late.
**time skip to the end of the day**
Mal's POV
I was in Ben and I's room thinking about that girl he had been with.  He hadn't talked to me ever since that girl came around. Though we sleep in the same bed he comes home late at night and falls straight asleep. His work load was lighter this week(for some strange reason )so he came home early.
"Mal I'm home, "he said.
"I'm in here, " I said from the bedroom.
"Hey, " He talked in soft voice as he kissed me on the cheek but I turned away.
"Is something wrong?" he asked in a worried voice.
"I'm fine, " I said. "It's just that you've been spending a lot of time with this other girl instead of me and I feel like you forgot about me. "
Tears were welling up in my eyes.  Ben sat down next to me and pulled me into his lap.
"Mal I'm so sorry that I made you feel this way. "

I cried into his chest as he wrapped his arms around me. 

"She was new to this school and I was just showing her around. I guess I should've told you first. "

"It's okay, " I replied. " I just wanted to spend more time you."

Ben dried my tears and kissed me full on the lips and I didn't turn away. We kissed for about 5 minutes until we saw the time.
I slipped into one of his t-shirts and him into a plain white t-shirt. We snuggled together under the covers and just before I closed  my eyes I heard him whisper,  "I'll never forget you ".
