Madi

We all are waiting outside except Clarke and Abby. I hope the baby will be okay. It'll be a little while so I can talk to the youngest of our group.

"Hi, it's Jordan right?" I asked him a question, for which I know the answer. I just needed a phrase to start with.

"Yup that's me. At least I'm not the youngest," he said and laughed a little. He seemed happy but deeper he seems like he's afraid of me a little.
"I'm Madi," he said my name at the same time as me.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I already know who you all are. My parents were talking about you guys all the time. Even though they knew you for a short time they've told me about you," he said and smiled.

"If you already know me, why are you scared of me?" I asked and he got anxious.

"I'm not. The voices or souls or whatever it is inside your head creeps me out," he said and I understood. It freaked me out for a little while too. It's like have a little helper that's always with you.

"Alright, that's clear to me now. I wanted to ask you. How does it feel for the first time be on a planet and not on a ship?" I looked at him and smirked. He looked at me excited.

"It's incredible. Those trees, rocks lakes and all these things that make the planet the planet. You know?" I nodded that I understand.

"I really want to see some animals," he said excitedly as I've never seen anyone before.

"Actually, we've found a dog here, but I don't know where he is now. Last time I saw him was when we came to the camp," I said as I'm looking around.

"What about to go find him?" he asked excited to meet his first animal in his life.

I just nodded and we went to look around. Everybody was talking to each other and discussing the thing we were talking about before. So no one won't even notice that we're gone.

"Oh, late happy birthday by the way. I forgot to tell you that. Lots of stuff was going on," I said as I'm looking around.

"Thanks. I appreciate it. You guys don't even know me and I fell like I'm part of the group already," he said and smiled at that thought.

"These people are amazing. Clarke took me in and now I'm the leader of them. I've never thought about leading anyone," I said.

At that moment I heard someone talking. It was John. I put my index finger in front of my mouth and turned to Jordan for him to know to be quiet. He nodded. We came closer to the window so we could hear everything they said.

"Are you sure sir? We don't know how many of them are there," the one said.

"Yeah, he's right," the second said.

"You are cowards. If we kill them now, there won't be anyone to wake them up," John said and hit the table.

"But the girl, who stayed here she kicked our asses like it was nothing," the first one said and there was a silence for a few seconds.

"We'll kill her silently. So anybody even notices," John said.

"But we've tried and it was for nothing," the second one said ashamed.

"We won't fail again, because I'm gonna be the one who kills her. And we can kill the rest of them one by one," he said with an evil voice.

I looked at Jordan and just from my face, he understood my thought. We have to tell the others. We can prepare for them. We wanted to get out as quickly as possible, but still quiet. We were sneaking from the building.

"What do we have here?" I heard John said right behind us.

We turned around slowly. He was there standing with two other men next to him.

"Yes, I found it. Thanks for helping me Madi," Jordan said and got up. He helped me get up.

"Play it with me," he whispered only for me to hear.

"You're welcome. What did you ask?" I asked as I'm looking at John.

"You think I'm stupid? You couldn't lose anything. You haven't been at this area since you got here," he said and smiled at his smartness.

"I think it's time to run now," Jordan tried to say it not suspiciously. I nodded and started to run and Jordan right next to me straight into the forest. If we bring them to the others, they would kill them all in the place.

"Kill them but quietly. Don't come back till they'll be dead," he yelled and more than five men were running after us.

We're running for a few minutes now. And I'm pretty tired.

"Jordan," I said and we stopped.

"Hide. Here," I said heavily breathing as I pointed at the big rock a few meters from the path.

We hid behind the rock and rested on it. We were both breathing heavily. I heard the loud footsteps coming our way. I tried to calm my breathing. As Jordan noticed it he tried it too. They stopped.

"I think we lost them. John's gonna kill us," one of them said.

"Split up. If we wanna live, we have to find them," another of them said. I heard the footsteps getting all the different direction. Fortunately, many of them aren't heading our way.

"Do you know anything about fighting?" I whispered asking. He shook his head. That's great I have to do it all by myself. But he can be useful.

"Well, now you see something," I whispered to him and looked over the rock. They don't see at each other. If I take one, no one will notice. That's a good sign.

Hi there. It's a little late. But I have already written half of another chapter so it'll be maybe even sooner than usual. Again thank you all for reading.
