Chapter 24 - Drunk In Love

Start from the beginning

Louis started walking back to his room and quietly mumbled "He's right, she's just a fan."

"Who's right? Did Walus tell you that?" Harry asked but Louis ignored us and kept walking.

"Louis, get back here." Liam followed him and grabbed his arm to stop him. Louis turned around and pushed Liam away from him but Liam grabbed him again.

"Jesus, Liam leave me alone!" Louis continued pushing Liam away but Liam twisted his arm and pinned him against the wall. Louis was about ready to tell him off but there was something inside him holding it back.

"You need to calm down. You're being rude. Talk to us, Louis. We're all you have. I know you're hurting but..." Louis leaned forward and whispered something to Liam. Liam released his grip on Louis who immediately ran to his room and slammed the door.

"W-what did he say to you?" I asked as Liam walked back over to us.

"He said he doesn't want to hurt you the way he hurt El." Liam looked in my eyes and sighed as he spoke.

"He didn't hurt El?"

"He still thinks it's his fault Eleanor was depressed." Niall looked at me and yawned.

"Alright, there's nothing else we can do for him tonight. And Niall is clearly exhausted." Liam pointed to Niall. "Let's get some sleep."

I fell asleep on the couch watching TV, trying to get my mind off what happened. I couldn't figure out what I had done that upset him so much? Maybe he's just really confused? I hope he gets over this soon.

I woke up and it was late in the afternoon. Louis' door was still closed. I had to try to talk to him, that was why I came here after all.

"Louis?" I knocked on the door. There was no response of course. "I know you don't want to talk so just listen. I'm sorry for whatever I did that upset you. I don't know what twhat Mr. Walrus or Walus guy said to you but it's not true. I've never thought of our relationship like that. Well maybe I did int he beginning but who wouldn't? After we Skyped everything changed. I only thought of you as my friend." I sat down on the floor and leaned my back against the door. "I wouldn't have come here if you were just some celebrity. I'm supposed to be studying for my final exams to graduate but I chose to come here. I'd go anywhere to see a friend that needed me. My mom didn't want me to come because she thought I was just trying to stalk some celebrity. She thought I'd lost my mind. I had to explain to her that we were friends and she still didn't understand. She told me she wasn't going to help me with college if I came but I came anyway. She asked me if I loved you and I told her I did. I really do love you, Louis. That's fine if you don't want to talk to me. I came here to help you through the funeral and my job is done. I'll just go back home I guess." I stood up and began walking away. I heard the door opened and a voice spoke. It wasn't the voice I expected though.

"That was beautiful, you should really tell all that to Louis instead of me though." I turned around quickly and saw Liam standing there. Well shit, I got the wrong room.

"This is your room?" I nodded and he laughed. I was blushing with embarrassment.

"I'm sorry, love. I should have stopped you sooner."

"Which um, which room is his then?"

"He's not here. He went out to the club for a drink." The club? God, how late did I sleep?

"Can you tell me where he is? I wanna talk to him before I leave."

"Yeah, gimme a minute." He walked back into his room and came back with a pen and paper. He scribbled the address on a card and handed it to me. "You're really leaving already? You're not going to the anime convention with Sasha and Harry?" He grinned sarcastically.
