Clary POV

I slid my hand over the smooth black paint of the last gift my father bought me, best. birthday. present. EVER. She (Yes she was a she) was my pride and joy, izzy was so lucky i was letting her ride with me, although she insisted claiming she had never been on a bike before. I swung my leg over it grabbing the handles while izzy climbed on the back clinging to me like an infant does to their mother, although izzy was definitely taller and also older as far as i knew, details. I pulled my helmet on and passed her the spare which she slid over her hair carefully "Clary, take it easy okay i really don't feel like dying today" she laughed as the bike growled to life and i sped out of my driveway with izzy directing me towards her house.

We got lost for about 20 minutes but we finally made it to her house, izzy jumped off yanking the helmet off her head "Its official, I hate bikes. Nothing but death traps" she frowned passing me the helmet making me laugh and pull my own helmet off resting it on the bike before killing the engine and jumping off. I looked up at her house, the same house i had ran from a few days earlier, it was so large and Gothic looking, she must have noticed me staring "It used to be a church, but our parents bought it and converted it into a house." she shrugged pushing open the doors and heading down the hall and down a set of stairs towards the sound of instruments. I slammed the door shut and quickly ran after her finding the boys already set up testing their instruments in what looked like the basement, jace who who had his guitar slung over his shoulder by its strap noticed us first smiling at me, god damn it he was already sexy enough without being a fucking awesome guitarist, it just added to the whole bad boy appeal. "were you lost?" he smirked showing his teeth a little "Yeah we were actually, that damn bike has a mind of its own" Izzy moaned falling back on a couch at the other end of the basement, jace just chuckled and tossed me a microphone. Soon enough we were all ready to go "Can i suggest a song?" i asked and the boys just nodded "Can we start with 'Shut up and let me go' by the Ting Tings? you know only if you guys know it that is.." i trailed off "Yeah sure i guess, izzy used to make us play it." Jon shrugged "That's cause its awesome" izzy moaned but held out a thumbs up in my direction she now lay face down on the couch, we started to play just as the doorbell went, it was most likely the "Girls" Izzy shot up to go answer it while i bobbed my head and tapped my foot to the intro

Shut up and let me go

This hurts I tell you so

For the last time you will kiss my lips

Now shut up and let me go

Your jeans were once so clean

I bet you changed your wardrobe since we met

A slightly Asian looking girl with short brown hair came running down the steps eyes locking instantly on Jace before sitting down the the couch izzy was lying on moments before, she was followed by pretty tanned girl with pleated hair and a muscular boy with spiky brown hair, they all sat down to watch us as Isabelle came down the steps with a bottle of vodka and numerous cups, her parents must be out of town or something. "Omg i love this song" Whispered the Asian girl to the girl beside her who just nodded. She didn't bother trying to make conversation again, just went back to eyeing jace up and down like a piece of meat, if i weren't in the middle of a song i think i would have hit her with something, Jaces guitar maybe?

Now oh so easily you're over me

Gone is love, it's you that ought to be holding me

I'm not containable

This time love is not sustainable

I ain't freakin', I ain't fakin' this

I ain't freakin, I ain't fakin' this
