Chapter 9

Judar's POV

I watched my girl from afar as she ran around with the others.

'Hm. Beautiful.' I think to myself.

"She is a beauty isn't she?" I hear the moron's voice say just behind me. I didn't say anything, all I did was turn back to her. This time when I looked at her, she was dancing. The beautiful gold dress perfectly swaying with her body. "So Judar... I have something we need to discuss-"

"I'm not leaving Kayla in this country." I shot down his question before he could ask it.

"How did you know what I was going to say?" He sounded genuinely confused and shocked.

"Because you're an idiot and your thought process isn't that hard to read." I turned to the King this time. "I won't leave her here, especially not with you around."

Sinbad raises his hands in defeat. "Okay you got me but I want her here so she's safe from the organization." I raised my eyebrow the slightest bit.

"And why would you think the organization would have their eye on her?" Venom in my words.

"Well 1. You're dating her. That makes her a threat already and 2. Aladdin and Titus said that your rukh has changed. It's mostly black but it is also white." Now that he mentions it, I have been feeling happier recently but I never thought that my rukh changed.

It didn't take much effort to figure out what he was getting at. "They would get rid of her if they find out." I summed up his point. "I'll think about staying longer but I WILL NOT leave her here alone." The king smiled and nodded his head. The sound of my love's name pulled my attention away from our serious conversation.

"Kayla?! Kayla where are you?!" Called the small group of kids she left with earlier. They sounded worried and then I noticed that half of the citizens were calling for her too.

'What?! She's gone?!' I jumped over the rail and float to where the brats were, the king, generals, and Kougyoku falling close behind. "Where the hell is she and I better like your answer!" The short magi I was yelling at looked like he was about to shit himself.

"I-I don't know. She was dancing on stage one minute and then the next she was gone." Aladdin responds timidly. He is obviously concerned about her too but not nearly as much as I am. The conversation with Sinbad a moment ago wasn't helping my worry either.

I roughly grab the boys collar and yank him closer to me. "And you let her go wonder off alone?!"

"Calm do-" I shot the king a death glare that said 'if you finish that sentence, I'll murder you where you stand.'

"Let's set up a search party for her." Ja'far suggests.

"At the very least you could do that. I want every citizen in this country to look for her NOW!" I bark out and every sindrian within a 5 meter radius begins looking for her and instructs others to do the same.

Before I can take off, one of the generals informs us that someone is trying to get through her barrier.

"Let them in."

"Just because you're here now, doesn't mean you can start ordering people around Judar." Alibaba says and I ignored him.

"Do it." The witch nods her head and a moment later a blonde haired man with a long braid and green outfit stands in front of me. "So you must be Yunan." I don't hold any emotion in my voice. All I wanted to do was find Kayla.

"Yes but we don't have time for introductions. Kayla has already been taken by the organization and is out of this country's boarders." My body stiffened and my eyes widened while everyone else just gasped like idiots.

"If you knew that then why didn't you stop them?" I clinched my fists.

"Because I saw it through the rukh and not in person." Yunan calmly replies.

"Anyway Yunan, why are you here? Usually you would never show up for things like this."

'Does that king ever shut his mouth?!'

"I came in person because this is important, after all, Kayla is my Kings candidate. I need to make sure she's looked after."

I nodded my head. I'm not happy to need assistance but this is the organization we're dealing with. I will not let them hurt her!

"Kouha's magicians, tell Kouen the situation and have him gather the Kou dungeon capturers. We should get there in two days if we hurry." They said yes. "Let's go!" The ones with metal vessels djinn equipped so they could fly and the others sat on mine or Aladdin's turban, with a few exceptions like Kougyoku who rode on the king's back and the sword general who rode with the witch general.

'I'm coming for you Kayla! Hang on for me!'
