"Hi it's good to see you again" her cheerful tone put a wider smile on my face

"It is" she nodded she tucked her bangs behind her ear

"How long has it been?" I asked

"Mmmm 7 months? Something like that" she shrugged but stayed smiling "what are you getting?"

"Just a coffee" I shrugged "what about you?"

"Vanilla bean frap" she moved up in line then faced me again "let me buy your drink"

I shook my head putting up a hand "oh no no I couldn't let you do that"

"Oh but I'm sure you could" she sassed

"As a gentleman I insist I pay for your drink" I smirked

She gasped "no no no I offered first" she laughed and got to the counter "Venti vanilla bean frap and a Venti coffee" she stuck her tongue out at me and paid I just laughed

She gave her name and I sat a near by table she sat and put her bags on the table "you're having a shopping spree?" I asked she only 2 shopping bags

"I got Harry some sweats and I bought socks ohh!" She pulled the little bag to her chest smiling widely "look what I just got Harry" she passed me the bag

I opened it and pulled out the black velvet box I opened that and raised an eyebrow seeing the fine gold ring "wow that's nice" I nodded I looked at her "I think he'll really like it"

She looked flushed a bit she bit her lip "I hope he does cause I love it and he loves rings sooo..." she trailed off laughing softly

"So how have you been?" I asked placing the box back into the bag

"Lovely baby sitting a lot keeping busy" she shrugged "what about you?"

I sigh "uh routine is keeping me going first time in months I broke routine I usually just fish and jog and watch my shows"

Alexis nodded "routine is good just not too much of it" she shrugged "I'd love if you'd have dinner with Harry and I his birthday is soon and I'm making his favorite dish you're welcome to come"

I put up a hand "oh n-no I wouldn't wanna intrude"

"No no no it's just me and Harry you're welcome but if you don't wanna come to my place Harry, Angel, and I are going to the zoo the day before to celebrate" she knew Angel?

My eyes widened a little "Angel? Angel who?"

"Angel.... Harry's daughter Angel" she frowned scrunching her eyebrows together "something wrong?"

I shook my head "no no nothings wrong just umm... surprised quite honestly no one really knows about Angel"

"Oh well we've met" she kinda laughed her name was called she got up to go get it her phone buzzed as she was away

She sat back down giving me my steaming coffee I hummed as it warmed my hands "thank you"

"You're so very welcome" she nodded and checked her phone typing a quick response then put it back down giving me her attention "you know much about Angel as a Baby?"

I nodded "I'm her grandpa" I laughed as her jaw dropped

"Noooo"

I nodded again "yes I was there the day he brought her home from the hospital adorable little girl I'm just sad for her she deserves a more stable life, a more stable mother..." I sighed it wasn't my place to say much

"I agree" she sat a bit stiffer "I've heard a few things but I'm gunna stay out of it it's really not my business as much as I don't appreciate some of the things I hear"

I nodded "glad we feel the same" I sipped my coffee and hummed "I think you're good for Harry, really great for him actually"

She blushed more adding more pinky tint to her cheeks "thank you"

"Alexis!" Alexis looked behind me a turned watching a man walk over he looked at me

"Asher this is a dear friend of Harry" she motioned to me "Doctor Evans this is Asher he's one of my best friends... actually probably just my best friend" she laughed

"Hello" I waved he waved back

"I'm gunna go order panda k?" She nodded he nodded to me and walked off

"Am I keeping you?"

She shook her head "no of course not we were just gunna get lunch on his break is all"

I stood "I'll go then it's fine"

She stood "are you sure? It's completely fine"

I nodded "I'm sure thank you"

"Welcome" she mumbled

I wrapped an arm around her giving her a 1 armed hug but she went all in giving me a very sweet hug "what time for the zoo?"

She pulled away smiling "3"

"Great I'll be there"
