Moving in with demons, vampires, werewolves, etc. chpt 2

"Hey she's here I can smell her sent!" a guy said.

I quickly opened my eyes and hid behind some bookshelves. I stayed quietly behind the bookshelves. I can hear their footsteps, they're getting closer and closer, I slowed my heartbeat until it doesn't beat anymore. It's making me dizzy and I'm loosing a lot of energy, more then ever before. Then someone puts his hand on my shoulder, from behind me. I scream and turn around.

"Don't scream, it's only us!" said a guy with brown hair and warm hazelnut eyes, he's Jesse.

"So here you were!" said a guy with light brown hair with blond streaks and dark brown eyes, it's Jack.

"You know we wouldn't have found you if you didn't slow your heart rate." said Alex.

"Why did you come after me?" I asked.

"Because you ran away and it's dangerous around here so don't go off on your own without at least one of us being there." Jesse said.

"I can take care of myself. I've been doing it for the past 13 years, so I don't need anyone's help!!!!" I yelled at them.

I know I shouldn't have, they're only trying to help, but for some reason I can't control my anger today.

"Really?" Chris said from behind me.

When the hell did he get here???

"Yes really!" I turned around and said.

Chris got really angry and he got closer to me, he's right in front of me now. His eyes turn from safire blue to red, blood red. He's.....he's...a vampire. As if to confirm my suspicions his fangs begin to show. What does he want???

"Are you scared now girly?" Chris asked in a deep voice.

"Not at all." I said full of myself.

His fingers, his cold fingers are touching my neck and for some reason it feels good, it's calming me down. How strange!! Then he gets closer, he opens his mouth and is about to bite me, I just know it!

"Christopher don't you dare!!!" Max yelled at him in a deep scary voice.

Chris immediately got away from my neck and me.

"Why not?" Chris asked angry.

"Because I said so!!!! Don't you dare argue with me!!" Max yelled very angry at Chris.

"Fine suit yourself!" Chris said angry and left.

"Are you alright?" Max asked concerned.

"Yes I'm fine! Why do you ask?" I said.

"Because your heart stopped." Max said.

"Sorry I forgot about that." I said.

I closed my eyes and concentrated, my heart began to beat again in a few seconds.

"Is this better?" I asked.

"Yes, but how did you do that?" Alex asked puzzled.

"I've been able to do it ever since I've been little." I said.

And it's true I don't know why, but I've been able to do it since I was 2 years old.

"That's very interesting." Max said.

Interesting? I don't think so it takes a lot of my power to get my heart back beating, it's hard. It's always been hard, but it's getting harder and harder.

"You should get some rest! You must be tired." Max said.

"As a matter of fact I am." I said.

"Then lets go back to our room." Jack said.
