Sunlight streaming through the window
Caressing your face
Birds chirping
My favorite placeYou in my arms
Pressed tight against my chest
While I look
At the angelic messYour hair's fallen out of it's bun
Curls tickling your cheek
And your mouth slightly curvedI've never seen someone
So beautiful
Without even trying
Your face untarnished by powderYour lips, pink as ever
And for a moment,
My breath catches in my throat
Because I now know
Just how much, I love you
