Chapter 45: Epilogue Part one

But I couldn't find this specific necklace he brought me, It was going to match perfectly with my dress

I'm pretty sure he took it off me the time I wore it cause I was tired, but where did he put it?

He was taking a long shower so I didnt want to bother him

I checked the drawers and under the bed. Being Liam, he probably put it in his pocket

So I grabbed his suitcase and started searching through his pockets, but then my hand stopped in the bottom of his suitcase to something hard

I pulled it out to see a small black box, and everyone would know at first glance it was a ring box

Oh my gosh, was he going to propose? If so, when? Tonight? I started to have a mini panic attack, shoot, I wasn't suppose for see this, but at least I didn't open the box

"Renae can you grab my shaving cream from the counter please " I heard Liam yelled  from the bathroom door
 
Damn

"O-one second"

I quickly tried to put everything the way it was, burying the ring deep in

I grabbed the shaving cream and handed it to him, and immideatly started on my makeup

I had to go all out

I changed my dress to a gown-like dress, and since I couldn't do much with my hair, on short notice I put it into a tight low bun with a swoop in the front

I put on my black heels, and double checked myself

Perfect

I walked into the hallway

"Wow, baby, you look ravishing, a bit over-dressed, but still beautiful"

"You look handsome, and what can I say? I feel like tonight is going to be extra special" I said winking at him

He looked at me questionly, then smiled let's go

We went to the restaurant and man was I over dressed, I probably looked like I wanted to put on a show, I just wanted to look extra dolled up for my proposal

We took a table and ordered our drinks, I was getting a bit nervous already, just thinking about those four words he will utter tonight

"Baby, you alright?"

Shoot, he noticed

"Yes I'm fine hus-, baby"

He gave me the same questionable look earlier and I just looked down

When our food came I tried to eat as fast and properly as I could

Liam laughed, not understanding my mental struggle

After dessert, Liam stood up, took my hand and started leading me to the outside deck

I took a deep breath, it was almost time

He stood at the railing just looking at the beautiful scene, Liam seemed deep in thought

Was he double thinking about marrying m-

Liam interrupted my thoughts

"I have a question to ask you"

I gulped "what is it?"

He turned to get something out of his back pocket I was already smiling grand

But my smile turned into a frown when I noticed he pulled out two folded up papers

"Since tomorrow is our last day, I think you should pick where we go"

I have never felt anymore foolish then I did now

It probably wasn't even a ring in there

I picked one of the tallest buildings so we can go sightseeing up there

At the time I just wanted to take all the nonsense I had on, take a shower, and go to sleep

For the rest of time till we were in the car, I tried to keep happy, but he noticed, and asked me it after my shower

"Are you ok? Like for about the whole taxi ride you looked- dissapointed..."

I smiled at him "I was just tired, and that's why now I'm going to go to sleep, goodnight, baby "

I know that sounded rude, but I just felt so dissapointed

The Next Day I dressed casual cause we we're just going sightseeing

We went to Burj Khalifa, and I have never walked so many stairs in my entire life, at one point, I even went on Liam's back

When we FINALLY reached the top, I gazed at the view

Just breathtaking

Then that's when I noticed others on top started pointing to the sky, Liam and I looked up at a plane spelling "Will you marry me"

I looked down

I immideatly felt jealous, that girl was so lucky, but when I saw Liam still looking up, I looked again

The sky now said "Will you marry me Renae?"

I gasped then looked down to see Liam on one knee

"Renae I love you with all my heart, and more, Will you marry me?"
