Lincoln POV

It's been about a year since Raven took me into her tribe, I'm not even Lincoln Loud anymore, I'm Sparrow Branwen, yes Raven took me in as her son, and I happily accepted it. The funny thing is, even if Raven is a bandit and she can sometimes be very strict, she is still a better mother than Rita Loud ever was. She always calls me when we are alone her little sparrow, I like it, I have a family that likes me and I like her back, she even told me that she has a daughter, her name is Yang Xiao Long, but Raven has She left her with her father, I did not really understand it at the beginning, but she told me that she wanted the best for her.

I'm training in the woods against some Grimm, I'm just killing the last Grimm and wanted to make a slow break until I hear a few steps to come to me. I turn around, my training sword in hand, ready to attack who or what is there, but I see a man who reminds me of Raven, only this guy stinks like alcohol.

Me and he look at us in a long, silent pause, until we both hear a few paces, I turn around and see Mom standing there, she says "Sparrow stay behind." She introduces herself and the guy says, "Who's the kid?" I ask "Who's the drunk?" The guy laughs briefly and says "I like the boy, who is he your new lover?" Mom and I get a disgusted face and Mom says "No, he's my son." The guy's eyes widen and he almost chokes on his drink, saying, "You had another kid ?!" I raise my hand and say, "I'm adopted, so who is the drunk?" Mom massages her nose and says, "This is my brother, your uncle, Qrow Branwen." I wave to him and say "hello uncle, I'm Sparrow." Qrow inspects me, scratches his chin, and says, "Wait a minute, I know you, you're the son of the Louds." Mom narrows her eyes and says, "No, he's not anymore, he's my little sparrow, and those louds will not take him away!" Qrow asks, "What happened?" I scratch myself on the head, sighs and say "This is a long story." I'll tell him what happened before I met Mom, and how my ex-family treated me.

Qrow sighs, takes a sip from his flask and says, "Damn Rita, Lynn you're Hunter, why are you two doing that?" I look at him confused and ask, "You know my biological parents?" Qrow narrows his eyes and says, "Yes, they were in Beacon when we were there." My eyes widen and I ask "They were in Beacon?" Mom hugs me from behind and says, "Yes, but they are bad hunters." I want to say something to it, but Mom holds my head, I ask "Mom, what are you doing?" Mom says "Wait a minute, do not move." I do not move and feel something cut in my head. Mom says "You can move again." Qrow asks angrily "Raven what was that ?!" I ask "what was what?" Mom says, "I cut something off your head, it's a chip." I look in her hand and see a chip, I sighed, is probably Lisa's work, I take the chip out of her hand and smash him.

After I explained why I destroyed the chip, it's a tracking chip that will help me find it, even though I do not think the Louds will look for me. Mom asks, "What are you doing here, Qrow?" Qrow grabs his hands in his pockets and says, "Was close by and did a mission, I thought I'd visit you, it turned out well, I met my new nephew." Qrow takes something out of his bag and throws it at me, I catch it and see that it's a card set, he says "It's an early birthday present."

I smile, nod to him and say, "Thanks, uncle." He smiles at me and turns around and says, "I'm getting on my way again, goodbye Raven, Sparrow." He leaves and Mom looks at me pats my head and says "Go back to training, Sparrow." I nod and say "Alright, Mom." With that I start to train again.

Qrow POV

I stand in front of the House of Louds and knock on the door, shortly after the door opens and there is Rita Loud, she smiles and says "Qrow Branwen, not seen for a long time, how are you?" I answer "I'm fine and how are you?" Rita says "We're fine, come in." Rita sits down and I go inside, she closes the door and two girls with blond hair come up to me and ask, "Mom, who is that?" Rita says "This is Qrow Branwen, an old friend when we were in Beacon." I say "Sup, kiddos." Rita leads me into the living room and I sit down on the coach. Rita walks out of the room and shortly thereafter the whole family comes into the living room, I remember a few faces, Lori, Leni, Luna and Luan, Lori says "Hello mister Branwen, not seen for a long time." I answer "Yes, it was really long ago."

Lynn Sr. says "So Qrow, what brings you here?" I lie by saying "A mission from Oz, I was in the area and wanted to say hello." I look around the room and say, "Hold on, did not you have a son?" Lynn Sr. becomes clearly nervous and says, "I do not know what you're talking about, Qrow." He is already clear that I can see that he sweats, I say "Oh really, you had no son with white hair, so at twelve years old." Rita also gets more nervous and says "No, we did not have a son." I look at them coldly and say, "Do not sell me stupid, I know the boy because I met him recently." The brown-haired girl with a jersey, rolls her eyes and says "Great, what has this bad luck charm told you?" I look at her with a cold look and say, "Bad luck, I do not laugh, you both know best I know about bad luck more than you, and this boy clearly has no bad luck." Rita and Lynn Sr. do not look me in the eye and I say "You know I'm right, I think I have to talk to Oz about your hunter licenses." Ritas and Lynn Sr. eyes widen and Lynn Sr. says "Qrow you can not do that." Rita says, "We'll find him and make everything right." I ask while taking a sip from my flask "How do you want to do that?" The two look worried, but a little girl with glasses says, "Do not be afraid, I've planted each of us with a tracking chip." The parents look pleased as the daughters angrily look at the girl, I say "Nice try, he has destroyed the chip in front of my eyes, I will not talk to Oz, I would rather say that you leave the boy alone." So I get up and go out of the house.
