Ch 1: Welcome to Hell

Jewel regained her consciousness and tilted her head up, she seemed to have been asleep in a normal high school classroom. Aside from the fact all windows were sealed and bolted over with iron.

     She got up tiredly and stumbled out of the classroom, having no clue where she was, she lingered around the school aimlessly. Just getting used to the new surroundings. Eventually, she heard a few voices.

     Her brain jumbled, she followed the voices. Leading her to the gymnasium. She creams the door open and all the voices go silent, she entered the gym and shut the door.

     Jewel looked around, she knew nearly everyone there except only a few people. Most of the people however, she was deathly afraid of.

     She nearly burst into tears until she was wrapped into a tight hug by a green flash. Jewel could just feel the warmth of the hug to know who it was, so in a normal  reaction, she hugged back. Looking up to only see her lover, Harry.

Soon enough, a smile grew on her face. She was so happy not everyone she knew here was a spawn of satan. The young girl took her boyfriends hand and looked at everyone else.
    "Who are you exactly?" one male spoke up, his hair in a tight ponytail with a yellow and green sweatshirt, similar to Harry's.

     Jewel looks at him and states, "I'm Jewel Vine."

     The boy replies with, "I'm Jack"

     Jack points to a male next to him with pastel colors dyed in his hair and says, "this is Phineous." He points to a girl in all red, "Wolfia," his gaze turns to a girl who looked like a younger version of Wolfia yet with blues and purples instead of red and says, "Willow, Wolfias daughter," then to a person with pigtails and a prosthetic arm, "Ken, a they/them," then to someone next to Ken, "Sam, Kens cousin," he turns his gaze to a creature with two tails, "Hibiki," he turns to 4 scientists, "Grey, Singer, Finch, and Crimson," He turns his head and points at a woman, "that's Christie," then to a young girl with a ponytail and says, "that's Sara," he finishes off by saying, "then that's all of us."

     Jewel, not wanting to be rude, nods and says "hello," hand in hand with Harry.

     Wolfia was going to say something but is cut off by a new voice, "Welcome everyone!" the voice says joyfully.

     Everyone turns to the new voice, the voice was simply a bear, half white, half black, "I'm Monokuma!" the bear announces with pride.

Wolfia silently whispers, "the fuck?" while looking at Monokuma.

Monokuma says, "I'm also your principle of this school, or where you'll be spending the rest of your lives."

Grey seemed confused about this, "like here until we die?"

Monokuma nods, "it's not like I stuttered while saying it, you'll be here forever!"

Wolfia growls, "what the fuck do you mean by that?"

Monokuma says, "man, you guys are all idiots! You are supposed to be the gifted group of students! Remember?!"

Willow looked at Wolfia and asked, "won't the cops notice everyone missing..?"

Wolfia replies to her daughter, "yea, hopefully," the tone in her voice said, 'the cops will be glad that the most wanted criminals are gone, it's less work for them.'

Jewel sighed, she wouldn't be able to do nearly as much of the science that's at her liking. She had Harry, so that was good to know, she'd kill herself if she were separated from Harry for the rest of her life.

"so you're probably wondering if there's anyway to get out of school, aren't ya?" Monokuma says, cutting off Jewel's thoughts.

"damn right I'm wondering," Crimson growls at Monokuma.

Monokuma chuckled, "man! You must be very eager to find out! Anyways, the way to graduate this school is to get away with murder!"

Various gasps could be heard from the students, Jewel hugged Harry's arm, quite scared. Harry looked at Jewel, keeping her close to him. Phineous was hiding behind Jack, trembling. He didn't want to be killed, neither did he want Jack to die.

"That's right folks! Kill someone and get away with it, you'll graduate! After three people see the body, there will be an investigation period, a period where all areas on the current unlocked floors are accessible. After that, we'll have a trial where we talk about the evidence we've found and try to find out who the murderer is. If you guess correctly, the killer shall be executed and everyone else shall continue school as normal. Guess incorrectly, then everyone gets executed except the murderer. The murderer will get off free and be able to leave school, no one but themselves knowing what happened."

Ken laughs, "as if any of us are crazy enough to be that stupid!"

Sam gives Ken a look, "Ken, look around you, Wolfia, Crimson, Finch, there's plenty of possible killers in here."

"yea, but all of them have someone who they would hate to see perish," Ken points out.

Sam can't argue with that logic so doesn't try arguing, knowing it would lead him no where.

Monokuma smiles, "have fun kids!" and leaves

Jewel, quite scared, looked up at Harry, "uh... Hey, Harry?" she asks in a soft voice.

Harry looked down at her and tilted his head.

Jewel says with a slightly pink face, "Would you mind if we.. Maybe.. Shared a dorm?"

     Harry went a bit pink but nodded, he took out an index card and wrote, 'that's cool with me :)' then handed it to her with a smile.

     Jewel smiles happily as she reads the card. She wraps her arm around Harry and they make their way to Jewel's dorm, they just needed to relax a bit and hang out. Talk and laugh.

That's what they would be doing for the rest of the day, while joking around, Monokuma makes an announcement, "Hello students! It is 10:00 which means you should be in your dorms! Goodnight!"

Harry and Jewel understood and got into bed, Harry cuddling her closely, the two dozed off happily. Yet, how long would this feeling last?

Heyo! This is Obv10us! I wrote this cuz I was a bit bored and found Danganronpa interesting and thought it would make a cool story to write! I did get my friends permission to use their characters, too. I needed to finish this before the deadline since I'm going to Disney in a few days so sorry if it seems a little rushed, anyways, till next time!
