Perks of having a ghost Bff

Prologue

Long ago there were tales of mystical beats and legends that roamed the land. As most stories go those beasts were slayed by the hero's but what exactly were those "hero's" called? My people called them Sensenmann and they were no hero's to us. Instead of protecting everyone they slayed everything in their paths. They couldn't tell what was a monster and want was human, all they could do was eat, sleep, and slay.

As Sensenmann became legends to others they began to corrupt themselves until one by one they became extinct and the error of Sensenmann came to a close. As the years went on everyone began to lose focus on the monsters. They were too busy multiplying like bunnies to notice that they in fact were being controlled by the monsters. To this very day they are still being controlled by the monsters but what no one knows is that there was one Sensenmann who got away.

In a small town called Ye gotta there was a family with a dark past. On the outside they were the nicest people you'll ever meet but when no one was around they killed things..... monsters to be exact. The family was of five; there was the Mom named Juju who looked like a regular stay at home house wife but she was trained in the arts of perception. Then there was the Dad named Greg who worked for a big company but he could kill anything in under a minute. Then son Zeno looked like a perfectly normal teenager until you find out he was a murder. Now the grandma, a sweet nice "couldn't harm a fly" type of person could poison someone.

Finally there was the daughter Nellie. Unlike everyone else in the family she didn't poses any of those "unique " traits, in fact she was completely normal. The Mom and Dad decided not to let their little girl in on the "family business " so that she could have a normal life. Unlike her, Zeno was exposed to the business, not because they hated him but because they thought he was best fit to continue the legacy of the Sensenmann.

It was like this for 15 years until one night an accident happened to the family of five turning into a family of three. You see their youngest child was at risk of being killed by monsters since her family was killing them. So her parents went on a "business trip" to find something to hide her from them but sadly Juju and Greg never made it back. The police tried everything to find them but it was no use and as most cases go their case was left cold to die in the darkness.
