Chapter 11 - A First

Start from the beginning

"You should ask Everett, he was telling someone at work the other day how he knows one of the trainers." Nat told me.

"Maybe." I say, walking out into the living room and throwing my clothes into my bag.

"It's not as if you need to go." Nat shouts from his room. "You have a rockin' body already." I laugh and he walks out into the living room, rolling up his sleeves.

"Thanks." I say, walking up to him and brushing back his hair. "Perfect." He smiles at me and places a kiss on my cheek.

"You're amazing, you know that?" He says, smiling at me.

"You're amazing! Going along with this whole crazy plan, I really do owe you one." I tell him, tucking a lose strand of hair behind my ear.

"I had fun."

"Funnily enough, so did I." I admit, winking at him.

"Our fun filled shenanigans aren't over yet Aussie!" He grabs my hand and pulls me out the door, barely giving me a chance to grab my handbag.

"I really hate that nickname."

Dylan seems like a nice guy, and he's cute! Why are they always gay?! I sit at this cosy little restaraunt, listening to Nat and Dylan talk about anything and everything, giving Nat encouraging little smiles as the night progresses. Dylan isn't shy at all, giving me a swift kiss on the cheek when we met and kissing Nat full on the lips, obviously Nat has known this guy for a while. Nat described Dylan perfectly, 'tall, dark and handsome.' He has jet black hair and beautiful pale purple eyes, I could definitely see why Nat likes him.

"So Callie, do you like it here in LA?" Dylan asks me, finally breaking his attention away from Nat.

"Yeah, it's very full on." I admit, recieving a nod from both Dylan and Nat.

"I would have to agree." Dylan says, smiling at me kindly.

"Dylan, tell Callie what you do." Nat says to Dylan.

"I'm a musician." Dylan tells me, before taking a sip of his wine. I mouth the word 'hot' to Nat when Dylan isn't looking, causing Nat to kick me under the table.

"OW!" I squeak loudly.

"What's wrong?" Dylan asks me warily, cocking his head to the side.

"Nothing." Nat answers for me, silencing me with a look. I look down at my steak and chips and spear a chip with my fork, popping it into my mouth. Nat and Dylan quickly go back into a heavy conversation about some unfamiliar hair care product I couldn't care less about. I look around the restaraunt, bored with their conversation topic. I grab another chip off my plate, chewing it slowly, I scan the room and spot Everett. Ohmigosh! My eyes widen and I turn back around and stare down at my food, praying to god he doesn't look my way. Who was he with? Why is he here? I need to look again! I carefully turn my head, peeking over my shoulder at him. I see him sitting comfortably with Addison, laughing and joking around with her. My blood boils and I send a death stare in their direction, knowing very well they wouldn't see it.

"Callie?" Dylan asks, I snap my head back around to face him.

"Um, yeah?" I say innocently.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, i'm fine." I say, giving him my best reassuring smile. I look to Nat and see him looking past me at Everett. He looks back at me and winks, raising his eyebrows and making me even more pissed off. "I have to go to the bathroom." I mutter, standing up and walking through the crowded restaraunt into the ladies room. I stand in the empty bathroom, looking in the mirror at my reflection, finally getting a good look at my new dress. I notice how the dress stops mid thigh and hugs my curves nicely, emphasizing my long legs and peek-a-boo clesvage. I puff up my hair, framing it more around my face and pull my lip gloss out of my bra, applying it on my lips smoothly. Just as I put it back down my bra I notice a person walk into the toilets, I lift my head slightly and gasp when I see who it is.
