So let things set it's course as Verde gives Jack an explanation on Flames while Jack tell Verde all the magical things he had to deal with!

Jack's POV

I couldn't but stare at the small adult cursed into a body of a baby as I tried to think of a response

"So a secret Mafia world and colorful flames that are named after the weather that have different properties?" I couldn't help but sound so flat as Verde just nodded

Then Verde gave me a crash course on how the Mafia works, their rules, the Vendice, Omerta, and finally the extremely long discussion about flames

I learned the basic roles of each flame type, their capabilities, bonds, and other things that were important

"your a Lightning with a Sun secondary so you gave the characteristic of hardening and activation in other words with your Lightning flames could harden your body to take heavy hits or have control to use or absorb electricity and with your Sun flames you could heal yourself and others also to make your physical attacks stronger" he summerized for me as I thought about it

"do certain flame types have anything to do with someone's personality?" I asked him as his glasses gain a certain gleam to them

"Well in most cases yes a Lightning's will be very brash and a attention-seeker..." I grimace at that "...Sun's tend to be very pushy and being constantly active let it be physically or mentally" he said as I couldn't help but argue with that since those traits actually describes me

"But those are the personality traits for a classic Lightning or Sun while an inverted version of the two will practically be the opposite like me for example" he said gesturing to himself

"I see... are you going to teach me how to use my flames?" I asked him as he had a small smirk on his face

"I will be giving you the basic training on how bring out your flames and use them but it all depends on your resolve or your creativity... " he said as I just nodded slowly at that "...I also have an acquaintance that could train you on how to use your flames in martial arts for self-defense" he said as I just agreed to that

It's the first time someone actually tries to help rather than mock me, beat me up, or neglect me like a lot of people I know did to me

"Well their are things called Shen Gong Wu..." Then I told about the monks, ancient artifacts, chase, the evil witch/spirit, immortal dragon lord Chase and all the other things but I left out the facts about all the suffering I had to deal with but I believe he could tell but he didn't press on it for I was grateful for

After answering all of his questions with most logical answer I could respond with the most logical answer I could come up with

"This bracelet is also a Wu from my late grandmother she says that if used correctly it could enhance my five senses, physical strength, speed and agility but I have no idea how to activate it" I told him as he examine the bracelet

"well let's train you to refine your talents and gets some basic flames training as well" then he had one of the most terrifying smirks I've ever seen

"Just a warning I don't go easy on my disciples and we're starting your training as soon as possible" he told me as he started to chuckle darkly

Time Skip (2 months) 

Training was living hell Verde was a slave driver to make it his personal mission of making sure I was able to use my flames with proper ease

Now after finishing another invention for Verde I let my head fall on my desk as I was resting myself with all the training I've been

"Jack I got someone for you to meet" said Verde as I tiredly turn my head to my teacher as I saw another cursed person just like Verde

He was the same size as Verde with red Chinese martial arts clothes with his black pulled into a small braid as he had a serene smile on his face

"You must be Jack is very nice to meet you my name is Fon" he said as he greeted me kindly I couldn't help but flinch slightly do to being unused to such kindness and exhaustion

Then I noticed Fon's eyes sharpen a little at my action as he turned his head to Verde as of communicating through their minds

"Jack I will be teaching you how to fight and defend yourself" he said as he gave me another kind smile

But why does it feel like I'm getting another slave driver of a teacher?
