The news

The darkness it's everywhere, it is stopping the light from reaching me, from reaching us. A man he is standing behind me and then he is not. I hastily turns to look around for him. Hell, he is lying in front me, blood all around him and then my alarm goes off bringing me to reality. Thank God it was just a nightmare but the man, I knew him. My thoughts are interrupted by sound of crying, telling me my alarm has woken my baby up.

"Elenar, Olivia is crying, please put her back to sleep." I sometimes hate Olivia, I know she is not even 1 year old and no matter how cute she is, I hate her.

"I need to be ready for office, I don't have time for her." I reply back and go into the bathroom to get ready for work.

The hot water feels Soo much relaxing . I have to force myself out of the shower. I get dressed in one of my many black dresses and put on my black heels. People say I only wear black but black is my colour and black is classy.

I reach office right in time. The walk to Rafael's office, my boss, seems too long. The sound of my heels meeting with the wooden floor irritates me.

I open the door to his office without even nocking. What has gotten into me today.

"Elenar, oh my God, you scared me....so what do you want?"

"The project, it's complete."

"Okay..so how is alyona?"he asks with a very careful look. His face show no emotions but I know better.

I am just too much angry right know. How can he ignore the project and ask about Alyona.

"What the hell, are you serious? I am talking about this project and you are asking me about Alyona. She doesn't care about you or anyone else. You should really know in what things you should spend your time on," I shout.

I leave the office without any further words. Everyone is staring at me, so wow, now they also heard. This day couldn't get any worse.

I close the door of my office behind me and take the newspaper in my hand to read the usual boring news.

I read the headline and my world, whole world just falls down in front of my eyes.
