THIRD PERSON P.O.V

-

Dean remembers the accident, the day he ruined Castiels life for him.

They were singing along to some Kansas song, and when Dean wasn't looking at the road he ran into some oak tree.

He remembers it to the last detail.

How Cas looked with blood running down his head, with the look of fear in his eyes. If Dean could change that night he woud, he would change everything from the sandwhich he ordered, to the motel they stayed in.

That wasn't even the worst day.

The worst day was after they got the news about Cas. The way Castiel locked himself inside his room for days , not talking, eating, not anything.

He remembers when Castiel finally let Dean into his room. How he cried in Deans lap about how he would miss seeing, he would miss the bright sky in the daylight, or the brilliant stars during the night, but most of all he would miss looking at Dean.

"I'll never see anything! I wont see you! I wont see your perfect eyes, or the smile you get while eating fastfood, I'll never see any of that anymore! You don't understand how scary that is, Dean."

Dean would never admit it, but Dean sobbed that night.

-

One day while Dean and Cas decided to go the local park in the middle of the night. It was cold, but the fresh air was nice, and there was no one around it almost felt like they were the only people in the world. Dean was looking at the stars, as they always did when coming here, but Cas couldn't see them. Dean always felt guilt for what he did to Cas, even when Castiel tell Dean it wasn't his fault he wouldn't believe a word he said.

"Dean what do the stars look like" Cas asked looking up at Dean breaking his train of thought.

"Like stars" Dean replied bluntly making Cas roll his eyes and mutter "You know what I mean asshat"

So that night Dean described the stars to Cas for hours.

-

"Dean do you still love me?" Castiel asked looking at Dean with tear stained cheeks.

"Of course Cas, why wouldn't I?" Dean replied sending Cas a confused expression.

"Dean, I can't see anything, thats why!" Cas shouted holding back tears. "I- I'm just such a bother, and so much work, I can't even see how am I supposed to do anything in life when I can't see anything! What's the point of dating someone that can't see!" Cas said his voice breaking at the end.

"Cas, you mean everything to me, I don't care if you dye your hair purple I would still love you. You are everything to me-" Dean started saying, but got cut off by Cas.

"You don't understand it's like a curse! I could be some Curse set to make your life hell" Cas said inbetween sobs.

Dean pulled him into a hug, kissing his cheek before wispering into his ear.

"I'd rather have you, cursed or not"
