Cast!

Jennifer Lawrence as Angelica (Mom) Thompson. She's the mom of six crazy kids. She really misses her husband, Thomas. She somehow manages them all. There is also a lot of snack packing.

Chris Hemsworth as Thomas (Dad) Thompson. Redundant- I know. It's a Thompson family joke. He's in the army, and currently deployed to Iraq for a year. He's light hearted and can play the piano better than Motzart.

Malina Weissman as Hazel Thompson. She's 14 and obsessed with music. Luckily she doesn't like boys-yet.

Google search as Daisy Thompson. Can you tell she loves horses? Well, she loves them. Because they live in a rental house in the city, she doesn't own one, but has enough breyer horses to sell them all and get the money for a real horse. She is 10 years old, and is not homeschooled like the shirt says.

Google search as Jaylinn and Jaxton. (Jay and Jax) These guys are more or less best friends, and even under the most watchful eye can get into mischief and trouble. They are twins, and Jax is older by 2 minutes and 23 seconds. But either way, they are each eight.

Google search as Cora Thompson. Cora is the ultimate, stereotypical five year old. Very vocal, imaginative, opinionated, likes kindergarten, and wants to be a princess.

Google search as Owen Thompson. He's a little, rascaly one year old who likes to sleep, eat, cry, and play.

And of course we can't forget Rufus! He's the little golden retriever puppy who comes in later in the story. He likes mud and hates flies.
