Serena glared at her then smirked, "so that's how it is, huh?"

Dawn covered her mouth in shock. She didn't realize that she blurted out the fact that she liked him to his own girlfriend.*

"Oh, Dawn. Talk all you want on how you're so happy for him but we both know the truth." Serena smiled.

Dawn looked down at the ground as she felt the tears about to come out. Serena walked up to her and whispered into her ear, "must be hard watching the guy you love be in love with someone else."

She then turned and walked out the room, leaving a heartbroken Dawn to cry.

"Dawn?" She was snapped out of her thoughts as she looked over at the trainer next to her. She furrowed her eyebrows at him and smiled, "no need to worry. Everything's fine."

"Are you sure? We can talk about it if you want." He told her.

She shook her head at him as she grabbed her bag and started making her way towards the door. "Come on! The sooner we get to Cyllage City the sooner you get that gym badge!" She smiled as she ran out the door to meet with the others.

The trainer got up from the bed as he walked towards the door to see the coordinator already talking with their group of friends. She was avoiding the conversation about the guy she liked and he didn't know why. Why? Why didn't she want to tell him? Why would she tell Clemont and Bonnie but not him? She barely knew those two and she's already put her trust in them.

Was it because she was afraid he'd make fun of her? Or is it because she didn't trust him that much to tell him? He was confused but brushed away the thought as he went over to them. They were all set to go as they started making their way to their next destination.

The group made their way out of Ambrette Town as they passed through Route 8 and made it to the south cave entrance. After encountering many Pokémon, they were able to make it out of the cave and into Cyllage City.*

"Wow, Cyllage city is beautiful." Serena smiled.

"Why don't we rest up at the Pokémon center first?" Ash suggested. They all agreed as they made their way towards the Pokémon center.

"I'm sorry, we only have one room available right now." Nurse Joy said.

"Aww." Bonnie pouted.

"We can all sleep in the same room. It's no problem, right?" Clemont said.

"Need I remind you that the Pokémon center rooms only have 3 beds?" Bonnie told him.

"Actually that's perfect! Ash and I in one bed, Clemont and Bonnie in the other, and then Dawn in one too!" Serena smiled.

Ash was flushed at the idea of sleeping in the same bed with Serena. This was the first time he'd be sleeping in the same bed with a girl. He didn't exactly like the idea and felt uncomfortable with it.

"Or.. it could be Ash and Clemont in one bed, Serena and Bonnie in the other, and me in the last. How does that sound?" Dawn suggested.

"I actually like that idea a lot." Ash said.

Serena looked over at him, "you don't want to sleep in the same bed as me?"

"I don't think I'm comfortable with that just yet. Some other time." Ash smiled.

"I wanna sleep next to you, Dawn!" Bonnie said aloud.

"Bonnie? You don't wanna sleep next to me?" Serena asked sweetly.

Bonnie looked over at Serena. For a little girl, she wasn't stupid at all. She knew how mean Serena was towards Dawn and overheard their conversation that night. She didn't tell Ash of course because she wanted Serena to expose herself.

Trying her best not to be rude, she smiled at Serena, "Aww. You don't always have to sleep next to me! Besides, Dawn can tell me lots of stories about her!" She said as she went up to Dawn and held onto her arm.

Dawn smiled at the little girl, "I can't wait."

Serena glared at the two. She couldn't help but feel offended by the fact that also Bonnie has taken a liking to Dawn.

"Alright, that settles that. Let's start going to our room then." Ash smiled as he began walking to their room with Clemont, Bonnie, and Dawn following behind.

You're going to regret ever coming to Kalos, Dawn.

How'd you guys enjoy this chapter? Serena is way OOC (Out Of Character) but it's to help the story move a bit and build up the drama :D

By the way, I'll be leaving notes if you guys are confused! So if you see an asterisk (*) at the end of a sentence, then there's an explanation for that part of the story. :D

*1: Dawn didn't exactly tell Serena that she "likes" Ash. But, always remember that there are many way to tell someone you like them :D
