Dear Death,
You must still remember me. It's not been that long since we've met for the first time.
Although maybe you don't and honestly I don't blame you. You're very busy, aren't you?
I could describe you in many ways, but when I think of you, I feel nothing but hatred.
I absolutely despise you. You're ruthless, and you feel no remorse whatsoever.
To some you may look appealing, because they think of you as peace, and I guess sometimes I understand them, even though I don't entirely agree.
You came out of nowhere and took a person I loved. The fact that I'm certain you'll visit again and will keep visiting me until my last breath, is suffocating.
In an odd sense of way, you're a stalker. From the moment we're born, you're always by our side, awaiting the perfect moment to strike and take us away.
Many fear to look into your eyes, Death. I think it's because no one knows where your cold hands will take us.
And to be fair, I don't want to find out.
The only thing you've caused me is misery. So Death, don't take it too personal, I wish to never see you again.
Sincerely,
C.A.
