My homeland
Is made up of broken cities
Stolen seas
And wars.
The cities were built on top of dead bodies
Of innocent women , men and children .
My beautiful homeland
Was shot in the heart
Yet , she's still fighting
Refusing to surrender
And despising all those who yielded like cowards.
She raises the children to be warriors
So they would fight for her freedom
And free her from the shackles of occupation.
Occupation
It's a very nasty thing
It's the result of betrayal , treason and greediness .
They occupied the land
Yet the people are free .
They thought they stole their spirit
Let their hopes down
But they were wrong.
Because my homeland is a Phoenix
She gave the world a lesson
In how she can hold herself together
She showed them how she stitched her wounds
Every time someone put a knife through her heart.
We were born warriors
We carry the blood of the men and women
Who swore an oath for the freedom of their homeland.
We come from a place
They say , it looks like heaven .
A place that will be freed from wars , occupation and murderers .
