Chapter 1

Demi's POV:

I couldn't believe what, Selena just told me... I ran to Marisa's bed side and cried and cried. I apologized and after an hour of crying, I felt her body move.

Once she figured out it was me, she tried moving to my arms and she hugged me.

'Marisa, I'm so sorry I walked away from you. I'm really sorry... I love you so much. Please forgive me..'

-I couldn't help but cry again.

She gives me a sympathetic smile and holds my hands in between hers like you would see in a movie. She just looks at me and finally speaks above a whisper.

'No, Demi. Forgive, ME. You had every right to walk away. A bestfriend doesn't toss blades at someone who had just, you know...'

-she couldn't help but cry again.

'Marbear, it's okay. The past is the past. I'm just happy that you're alive, okay? I love you so much, Mar. I love you. NEVER, ever forget that.'

'I love you, Demi. '

- She smiles.

'I love you too, Marisa. Now, go get some rest okay ? I'm gonna go talk to Justin and see how he's doing.'

- I wait for her to close her eyes and I walk to Justin's bed side.

(Next Day)

Annie's POV:

Linh, the boys, and I were packing for, England when I get an unknown phone call. I send it to voicemail the first time. Then again. By the third call, I decide to finally answer.

(Phone convo. Annie&Selena)

A: hello ?

S: Hey, Annie ! I'm so glad you picked up. Listen, I...-

I cut off the person. Rude, I know.

A: I'm sorry? But who are you, and how do you know my name..?

S: Right, I'm sorry. It's Selena.

A: Selena, as an Gomez ...? Alex Russo, Gomez!!?

S: Hahaa, yes. That would be me. But listen. Demi had me call you well, my boyfriend Justin and Demi's old bff had suffered from gun shots... Were in LA and Demi just wanted me to tell you. She's still in shock. She's going to be staying at my place. You and the boys are more than welcome to stay with us too.

A: Oh, wow. I really hope they get better. Thank you for letting me know. And yeah? I'll come... But, my bestfriend is with me. Is it okay if she comes too ?

S: Yeah, of course ! Don't worry.

A: Wow, thank you. I'll go now. So happy I didn't buy the plane tickets to, England yet hahaa.

S: Yeah, that would have sucked bad ! I'll send my driver to the airport. He'll bring you guys at my place.

A: Okay. Again, thank you. See you in LA.

(End of convo)

After a long conversation, I tell Linh the new plans. We have three hours until our plane boards. We decided to give the boys a bath and we headed to a near by drive thru, Taco Bell.

(After flying)

We finally landed in La. The boys were actually well behaved ! We get our luggage and walk towards the front of the airport. After 30 minutes of walking, I spy a tall man with a sign that says, 'The Lovato Family'

I couldn't help but smile.

Linhyy takes, Rick, and their luggage while I take mine, and Eddie's.
