"I'll be right with you. No need to worry." Ash smiled.
She smiled and nodded her head at him as she called up her mom. A rang a few times until Johanna answered.
"I was wondering if you were ever going to call— Dawn! What.. your hair! What happened?"
Dawn didn't want to mention Serena. She didn't feel like it was necessary to. "Just.. a small accident. I'm sorry, mom.."
Johanna was silent for awhile. She stared at her daughter — surprised at her new look.
"I think she looks great." Ash said.
"Hello, Ash. Nice to see you again." Johanna smiled.
"Same here. What do you think of Dawn's new hair color? It's really nice, don't you think?" Ash said, trying to get an answer out of her.
Johanna looked back at her daughter who had her head hung low in sadness. She closed her eyes and smiled then opened them again to look at her daughter once more. "I think you look even more beautiful, honey."
Ash smiled at Johanna's answer while Dawn stared at her in shock. "But.. it's not my blue hair anymore.. it doesn't look like a beautiful ocean like you said.."
"No, not anymore. But, it does give off a beautiful radiance... Like stars." Johanna smiled. "No matter how you change yourself, you'll always be beautiful to me, honey."
Dawn felt like she could cry by her mom's words. She didn't think her mother — a woman who was always worried about her daughter, would say that. "Thanks so much, mom.."
"You're welcome." Johanna smiled as she looked over at Ash, "please take care of my daughter, will you?"
Ash nodded his head at her, "always."
"I'm glad I can count on you, Ash." Johanna smiled as she waved goodbye to both of them and hung up the video phone.
"So? What do you want to do now? It's really up to you whether you want to keep this color now." Ash said.
Dawn looked at her and smiled, "you know.. I guess it isn't that bad."
Ash smiled at her, "of course it isn't.. Dee Dee.." Ash chuckled.
Dawn's eyes widened as she looked over at the black haired trainer, "don't call me Dee Dee!" She shouted as she began to chase after the black haired trainer.
"Dawn! Dawn!" Bonnie shouted.
Dawn and Ash stopped their little chase as they turned around to look over at the blonde little girl. "Yes, Bonnie? What is it?" Dawn asked.
"I want you to come with me!" Bonnie smiled as she stuck out her hand. Dawn looked at the girl confused then at Ash who shrugged his shoulders at her.
"Okay, then." Dawn smiled lightly. Ash began to follow behind them but was stopped by Bonnie. "Hey, Ash! Why don't you get Serena?"
"Huh? Why me?"
"Just do it!" Bonnie shouted.
Not wanting to get shouted at again by Bonnie, he walked away to go find Serena. He then heard Bonnie shout over at him to meet at Ambrette Aquarium.
Ash walked towards the girls room and knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal Serena who just finished fixing up her hair. "Oh, Ash! What's up?" She asked. "Bonnie asked me to come get you to go Ambrette Aquarium."
"Oh my, so she's really going to do it." Serena said.
"Huh? Do what?" Ash asked.
"Get Dawn and Clemont together for a date."
The room fell silent. Ash's mouth was wide open and his eyes were wide — shocked from what he just heard. Did he hear that right? Did Serena just say.. that Bonnie was trying to get Dawn and Clemont.. to date?
Dawn is in love with Clemont..?
OOHHHH.. Is Dawn really in love with Clemont? Who knows! Will the date work out as planned? How does Ash feel? Stay tuned for Chapter 5!
