Ch.26: A Horrible Birthday Surprise

2 weeks later, Rachel's birthday party

Princeton, Roc,Prod, and Nia were the only people there and that's fine with me because we're having a great time. We were about to cut the cake when someone banged on the door. My dad went to open it and two policemen were standing there, it was my dad's coworkers. Everyone looked at each other.

"What are you guys doing here?" My dad asked

"We're looking for a Jacob Perez." The one on the left said

Everyone looked at him then to Princeton.

"Why?" He asked

"Someone called in and said they saw him abusing your daughter." The officer on the right said

Princeton froze, everyone kept their eyes on us, and I started feeling sick. My dad shot a glare back at Princeton, and Princeton and I both swallowed hard.

"He's right there." My dad said harshly not taking his eyes of Princeton and I

"Come here." The officer on the right said

Princeton stood slowly and walked over my dad lunged at him and punched him in the face several times. I screamed as one of the officers pulled my dad off of him and the other one hand cuffed Princeton and told him his rights.

No,no,no,no this can't be happening. It better not have been Ray that would just be low down he knows it's my birthday.

My dad, step mom, and the rest of us drove to the police station and my dad just scolded at me. It was silent and Nia looked lost.

We walked in and saw Princeton in a holding sell looking down

"How come you didn't tell me, I could have helped you." My father's voice boomed

I jumped back, I was so ashamed of my self right now but at the same time I regret nothing.

"I tried you always said that you didn't have time, you never had time for me." I mumbled
