I fell asleep listening to songs that remind me of you
The lyrics and melodies piecing together a story of how you've changed my life for the better
The comfort of knowing someday I'll be in your arms and you'll be in mine
The pain of sudden realisation that someday soon your focus could be put onto someone new
That all our midnight talks and pictures exchanged will all be thrown down the drain
That I wouldn't be able to express how much I love you
And how it's possible that I wouldn't even know if you've found someone better
You're 1,000 some odd miles away and I'm just another girl.
