"What now?"

"Now what?"

"That's exactly what I said, Malfoy." Harry rolled his eyes, his body comfortably wounded against the taller's. After their dramatic kiss, they have been doing nothing but stare into each other's eyes, lips, occasional chaste kisses, tracing fingers over their small details and again more kissing. Nothing more, nothing less.

"Look this is my first time so I don't want to mess this up okay? So I—" Malfoy felt his lips again covered by a pair of soft ones for the umpteenth time the night. But he couldn't help but give in to Harry's eager and soft touches; they felt so real. For the first time, he felt that someone's feelings were directed completely towards him, and for the first time, those feelings were not that of hatred. Yet, he never expected it to be from the person who refused to shake his hand.

Harry pulled back and through half-lidded eyes, he gazed towards Malfoy, with a foreign emotion lingering in his green orbs.

"Don't worry. I am too. Nervous, that is." Harry smiled. Then, with the lightest touch, he wrapped his fingers around Malfoy's, like a silent promise, an unbreakable vow. "But we'll make it work. If you mess it up, I'll fix it. I'll not let you go that easily. Just...."

"Yes?" Malfoy uttered, his voice heavy with the million emotions he was feeling at once.

"Just....promise me. If I'm the one to mess up, please...just don't give up on me. I might be an oblivious git sometimes, but as soon as I understand what I've done, I'll keep coming back to you. Please don't let me go, if that happens. Please," Harry almost cried out, his words turning into mere whispers. And Malfoy like his angel—his and his only, cupped his face, and kissed him. Malfoy felt as if this time, Harry was the one trying to convince himself that this, was not a dream.

"It's a promise."

"Could you for once not be a shitty excuse of a friend?" Hermione sighed. Ron had been constantly persisting to know if Ginny still liked Harry. Apparently he thought, Ginny was a better match for his friend.

"How can you just ask that? Are you an idiot?" Hermione slammed her hands on the wooden end of the table making the loose hinges creak all over.

"Look 'mione, she's my sister. I can ask her anything I want, and as much as I know, you don't get a say in this." Ron gritted his teeth, and Ginny cowered beside him.

Hermione's face morphed into a somewhat of sudden rage, and she uttered, "Harry's my friend too. It's his choice what he does, and you don't get a say in that. Neither do you, in what I do for him."

"You're forgetting that I'm his friend too, Hermione." Ron countered.

Hermine broke into a fit of bitter laughs. "It shows. Setting your friend up with someone against their consent and even when that friend already has someone he likes, yeah, I can see how much you care for him." Hermione blazed, giving a short glance at Ginny who was looking down on the floor, the table, out of the window, everywhere except the bushy haired girl's eyes. "Just do me a favour, don't do shit that'll lose you the name of a 'friend'." And Hermione stomped up the stairs, and a loud bang followed shortly after.

"Seriously? Sometimes I just don't get her!" Then turning towards his sister he continued, "If you still like Harry, you should tell him! Just because you never told Harry, he never asked you as well. I know my friend. If you just tell him that you like him, trust me, he'll come running back to you." Ron grinned, giving a light punch to his blushing sister.
