Chapter 53

After school Mokuro waited for Misuki and turned around seeing her. He noticed something wrong about her since Misuki usually didn't look extremely scary. He walked beside her and looked at her. Misuki's ears perked up and she looked up seeing Mokuro
"What do you want?" She asked
"First of all what's wrong? Secondly why did you challenge Grace? You know she just wants to mess around with you" Mokuro said
"Yeah and I'm going to end her life..." Misuki said
"Hey...why are you upset?" Mokuro asked
"Why don't you ask the Mizusawa bitch?" Misuki growled
"Did something happen between you two?" Mokuro asked
"Ask her...not me" Misuki said. Suddenly a car pulled up and Mitsuko came to pick them up. Misuki got in and sat down. Mitsuko looked at her and noticed her expression
"What happened now?" Mitsuko asked
"I rather not talk about it..." Misuki said looking away staring at the window. Shinjo and Hasura walked up to the car and got in sitting next to Misuki. Mitsuko noticed Hasura's hair color and her eyes a bit different
A new transformation?
"Did you two get into a fight or something?" Mitsuko asked
"Huh? A fight? Hehe nope" Hasura said smiling innocently. Misuki just gave her a death glare and growled lowly
"Yeah..." Misuki mumbled
"What about Shinjo?" Mitsuko asked
"He's going with his boyfriend" Hasura said
"Very well" Mitsuko said and drove away. Mokuro watched them leave and looked beside him seeing Shinjo
"Ready?" Mokuro asked
"Yes" Shinjo said. Mokuro and Shinjo headed to the car and got in
"Hey what happened between the girls?" Shinjo asked
"I'm not sure...but we have to guard at night" Mokuro said
"Why?" Shinjo asked
"Have you heard that Misuki challenged Grace?" Mokuro asked
"Oh that...I thought those were only rumors" Shinjo said
"Rumors that were true. Why didn't you stop them?" Mokuro asked
"Dumbass we both were outside when that happened" Shinjo said
"I knew I should've spoken with her..." Mokuro mumbled
"Why didn't you?" Shinjo asked. Mokuro gripped the steering wheel and looked the window beside him seeing his mother. He looked forward and sighed deeply
"I just couldn't..." Mokuro said and drove away the Academy heading back to their territory. The ride was pretty quiet especially Hasura and Misuki. The two girls didn't spoke a word at all which was fine by Mitsuko because Hasura would be pretty fuckin annoying the whole time. Once the girls arrived the two walked away from each other heading to their home. Hasura walked in kicking the door
"Hasura what did I say about kicking the door?" Harumin said
"Sooooorrrrrrrryyyy" Hasura said and walked to the kitchen to grab food. Matsuri noticed her hair and walked up to her
"What's up with you?" Matsuri asked. Hasura grabbed some ice cream and looked at her mother
"Just dyed my hair" Hasura giggled
"And now you're wearing contacts?" Matsuri asked
"It's nothing mom. Bye now! Weeeeeeee!" Hasura said as she ran upstairs. Harumin sat up and looked at Matsuri
"What happened?" Harumin asked
"Must be some new transformation...her looks are more different. Looking more like me..." Matsuri said
"I'm going to talk to her" Harumin said and walked upstairs heading to her room
"Hasura?" Harumin asked as she knocked on the door. Hasura groaned and ate her ice cream
"Come in" Hasura said as she sat up holding the ice cream
"Is everything okay?" Harumin asked as she walked in
"Mhm. Everything is fine" Hasura said as she smiled. Harumin looked at her and sat down next to her
"Don't lie to me..." Harumin said as she stroked her hair softly
"I'm not lying" Hasura said
"Hasura..." Harumin said
"Ugh fine...I just...well Misuki and I had a little fight" Hasura said
"What was it about? Did you do something wrong?" Harumin asked
"I rather not talk about it..." Hasura said and ate her ice cream
"You two are extremely close...both of you need to fix this relationship" Harumin said and wrapped an arm around her pulling her close. Hasura leaned against her mother and pinned her ears down
"How can I fix this?" Hasura asked
"Well...what happened?" Harumin asked
"I lied to her about something..." Hasura said
"Heh...you're just like your mother. She lied to me many times before..." Harumin said
"So...did you forgive her?" Hasura asked
"I did...after talking to her about everything. I told her to tell me everything and I mean everything..." Harumin said
"So talking could help fix my relationship with Misuki?" Hasura asked
"That is if she'll listen to you..." Harumin said
"If she doesn't wanna listen then...what should I do?" Hasura asked
"Try and do something that she loves" Harumin said
"Hm? Something she loves eh? Aha! I have an idea!" Hasura said standing up
"That idea better not get you in trouble" Harumin said
"Hehe it won't" Hasura said as she smiled as her but once she turned her head a devilish smirk formed on her lips
Hell yeah it will! Misuki is mine!

Mokuro went back home and clenched his fists tightly
Is it okay...to tell mother about this?
Mokuro looked at his palm and shook his head. He took a deep breathe and walked up to the front door walking in
"Hi mama" Mokuro said as he walked inside the house
"Hi Mokuro. How was the Academy?" Mei asked
"Some bitch was harassing Shinjo" Mokuro said
"You expelled her immediately?" Mei asked
"Yes. I've done her papers already. I was gonna contact you but...meh" Mokuro said and ran his fingers through his hair
"Where's mom?" Mokuro asked
"She's at another pack meeting" Mei said
"Oh...well anyways uhm...is today the Top Royal Blood fight?" Mokuro asked which made Mei look at him a bit suspicious
"Why do you wanna know about that?" Mei asked
"Well...I'm curious since Grace talked about it when she came to the Academy" Mokuro said
"Yes today is that day..." Mei said
"Are you going to see the fights?" Mokuro asked
"Obviously no" Mei said
"So...can I go see it?" Mokuro asked
"Why? I thought you didn't want to have any business with them" Mei said
"Well because...I'm curious?" Mokuro said not sure at all
"You're curious or are you wanting to join in?" Mei asked
"N-no I don't want to j-join in" Mokuro said and rubbed the back of his neck
"Then why do you want to go see it? You know what they'll do if they see you..." Mei said
"Yeah yeah...I was just curious to see if anyone is able to beat your record" Mokuro said
"Even if they try...they wouldn't be able to break the record. My powers were a monstrous type of power..." Mei said
"Was it the red eye thing you talked about?" Mokuro asked
"Yes..." Mei said
"Uhm...so how did you get rid of it?" Mokuro asked
"Thanks to Lady Liana. She helped out so much" Mei said
"Does mom have that power too?" Mokuro asked
"Possibly...but it's not so dangerous. For a Royal Blood our gems get corrupted and in a few years we turn into monsters" Mei said. Mokuro laid down on the couch and stared at the ceiling
Hm? So...I'm not in danger right?
"Mokuro why were you asking me about that?" Mei asked
"H-huh? Well...I was just...wondering" Mokuro said
"Wondering about what?" Mei asked
"About...some stuff" Mokuro said. Mei stood there listening to him and knew something was up but before she could ask Yuzu came in
"Welcome home mom" Mokuro said as he sat up from the couch
"Hi Mokuro. Hey Mei" Yuzu said as she closed the door then walked past by Mokuro ruffling his hair then went to Mei giving her a kiss
"So how was it?" Mei asked
"The pack needed support and more food since the pups need food" Yuzu said
"Guess you have to hunt more often to be able to feed everyone here and be able to feed them too" Mei said
"Yeah...it'll be difficult to try and find some areas to hunt" Yuzu said. Mokuro stood up and headed upstairs
"Aren't you going to eat?" Mei asked
"Uhm...no thanks. I'm not that hungry" Mokuri said. Mei just looked at him and thought for a moment
"Yuzu...do you think Mokuro is hiding something?" Mei asked
"Huh? What makes you think that?" Yuzu asked
"I'm not so sure but...I just sense some negative energy from him. A powerful energy that is hard to explain..." Mei said
