The Season of Singleness

The Call

I'm not used to being single
I'm used to having someone and loving someone
Or even getting around to mingle
But lately God has been saying to
"Take it slow
Get to know the flow of your own song with
Somebody riding along
Without having to take into consideration anothers feelings
Or believings
Just you"

So I took up God's offer that was so hard at first
Everytime a guy said I was cute I would just burst
And almost make him my man
But I had to understand that these were temptations
That had me contemplating about what God told me
But thank God I pray
Cause I get reminded everyday of what the plan was..
So in this season of singleness..
I will learn myself and how to be content within myself.
Work on my mental heath and put me on the top shelf.
Then I will know that whoever is for me won't mind the reach to get me..
Whenever God aligns that time to be.
