1: the thoughts of two geniuses

Donnie's pov

He lay on his bed, both thrilled and zoned out. Don had been working on another one of his sirums, cures, or achievements for the past two months now. When he thought about it at first, it seemed too good to be possible and very obnoxious to his beliefes. But once he put a ton of effort, study, and about a dozen one-nighters, he found that it was actually very possible. He thought over all the steps he took to get to his solution in his room, and that's when he finally concluded: There's a way to be human. Not only that, but he could go from turtle, to human, to turtle again as he pleased. He desperately wanted to tell his brothers and father of this, but decided against it. Leo would tell him they were fine the way they were, and make sure Donnie didn't tell the others about it. Michelangelo might steal it for himself and use it irresponsibly. Raph might get some bad ideas and run into trouble with some gangs or something. He'd be out all day AND night doing god knows what.

So, it was settled. He'd keep it to himself...

Spencer's pov

{ on the phone }

"Reid. TAKE THE WEEKEND OFF. You deserve it!"
"No no, really, Garcia it's-...it's fine, okay."
"But no no Reid I MEAN IT."
"R-really? 'Cause I mean it's totally fine w-"
"Reid."
"..uh, yeah?"
"Please, do us both a favour and rest that precious brain of yours, k hun?"
"...."
"Reid?"
"Thanks Garcia."
"You're very much welcome."
"You're the best by the way, bye"
"Yeah I know, ba-bye"

{ off the phone }

Spencer dropped his brown-ish bag he always carried with him on his couch. He sluggishly walked to his kitchen to see if there was any dishes to do. Unfortunately for him, there wasn't. "Great," thought Spencer "now I have nothing.." he spotted a new book on his shelf that he had forgot about "..almost, nothing to do." He curiously grabbed the book off of the shelf and read the title. It said "Confusion with Sexual Orientation"
He then remembered why he bought the book. It was actually kind of ironic considering all of the unsubs and victims they studied who were involved with the same gender in a romantic sense. He remembered Cat and Lindsey's relationship as well..that had caught him by surprise. He was really curious about the concept of gay or lesbian relationships, and he would be asked Cat, but it was inappropriate at the time. He was far more worried about his mom. But that was a long time ago. Now he was almost 38 years old, and he still was figuring out if he was even attracted to men at all.
For now, Reid just wanted to sleep on his thoughts. When he woke up he'd read the book..for now, he just slowly drifted off into his own thoughts, not worrying about a new case, not worrying about what he was going to eat today..just focused on sleep
