A/N : Heyy guys, I haven't written anything on Wattpad for a couple of years. So, please keep in mind that there will be grammatical or spelling errors and I'll be working hard to fix them when I get the chance. This chapter seems really heavy now that I think about it but it does get lighter as time goes on hehe. Enjoy the story :)

Alexis's POV
"What the hell, Aren't you supposed to be easy or something? I spent a crap load of money for this," the blonde haired boy who I had just slapped right in the face practically growled at me.

"Should've known you were a douche from the second we met. Don't worry idiot, you're good enough a kisser, but fancy showy gestures and lavishing me with your money isn't going to get me in bed. It was fun while it lasted, yeah? Next time maybe get your hands off a girl when she tells you to if you don't want to get slapped. Thanks for dinner, Bye now," I said with a smile on my face.

"Get out of my car, bitch," he spat out the words like they were poison. I grinned cheerfully at him and immediately got out of his car making sure to take my bag and phone with me. He wasted no time in just driving off while leaving me there.

Then I booked an Uber from there to get to my house since I was pretty much stranded there since my date had left me.
I wasn't really that surprised with the outcome of the date, if I was being honest. He was definitely cute yes, and usually in my case that spelled out danger clear and simple. He had brought me on a date to this luxurious restaurant with entrees that cost a hell of a lot more than what I spent on an entire meal. I almost had a heart attack just looking at the bill. Suffice to say, the food was delicious. After dinner, we headed back to his car where we kissed for a bit before he became way too handsy for my liking. I'll spare you the gory details and just say that I made sure he got the message. Hence, that had led to his outburst and kicking me out of his car.

Why wasn't I devastated at his disgusting behaviour, you ask? Simply because I was used to it, for one. Not the whole guys dating me for sex, I mean that'd be kinda depressing. But the guys having the capability to take a 360 turn and become douches were pretty much a given for me by now. Secondly, I had no particular expectations for this date. The more people you trust, the more they have the power to hurt you.

Mason, the blonde who I had just been out with wasn't really anyone special. The dinner itself was nice enough, but I made sure to keep my emotions and expectations in check. He was just another cute boy who had asked me out and I just said yes, and look where that led.

Oh well, at least I got a good meal out of it.   Completely free of charge as well.

I got back home and quietly snuck my way in, placing the house keys softly on the table. It was almost 11 and my mom was usually asleep by then so I didn't want to risk waking her up. I crept upstairs slowly and headed to my brother, Tristan's room. He was usually my go to person to discuss bad dates, experiences well pretty much everything actually. He was only a year older than me but I could honestly say the age hardly made a difference in our relationship. I'd trust him with literally anything. The only other person I trusted as much was my best friend, Rosie.

I opened the door quietly and found Tristan sitting at the windowsill, looking up at the moon. His hands were placed on his head, messing up his jet black hair and he didn't seem to have heard me which worried me a bit. He usually didn't sit there unless he was upset about something. I moved closer to him, gently placing a hand on his shoulder and called out his name.

"Tristan? You okay?"

That seemed to grab his attention and he turned towards me. The look in his eyes hit me hard. It was grief stricken and was accentuated by dark circles under his hazel eyes and furrowed eyebrows. I hadn't seen Tristan look like that for a really long time.
