DATE?!

I sigh as I realize it's still raining and I forgot my jacket, making me groan loudly and shiver. I walk in the direction of the cafe, realizing my skateboard was in my hand. I threw the skateboard down on the ground and started riding. Pushing down my non-dominant foot to propel myself. I skated past some houses, making the choice to take an unfamiliar route to the cafe. While riding past some unknown houses, I heard an all to familiar voice call out my name.

"Y/N, hey wait up." the voice called out, making me stop in my tracks. I turned and saw Todoroki walking out of a house, waving his hand at me in an attempt to gain my attention. I sigh as he reaches me. "Y/n! Where are you going at this time?" his calm voice that was laced with curiosity drifted out of his mouth. "The cafe." I spoke in an uninterested manner, making him step back. "Why don't you have a coat?" He noticed after a little while. I just shrugged with a grunt. He took off his hoodie, draping it over my head. I pulled the hoodie on fully, not bothering to put the hood up. His sweatshirt was now visible to me and I glanced at it. It had a kitten on it, making me let out an inaudible chuckle.

"May I come with you?" he asked in a small voice. I scratched the back if my neck nervously. "Uh yeah if you want, I only have one board though." He shrugged and began walking. I pushed off the ground and rolled slightly, feeling Todoroki's eyes on my back.

I turn around and see him staring at the board in confusion. I stop moving and kick the board up so it doesn't roll away. "Have you.. never skateboarded before?" I ask with a small chuckle. His eyes shot up to meet mine and he shrugged. "No, I haven't..But it seems interesting, I'd like to maybe learn one day.." he trailed off and I chuckled. I used my foot to push my board to him. "Try it!" I shouted with a real smile start forming on my face. He arched his eyebrow and stepped on the board, I stepped next to him and offered my hands for balance support. Todoroki grabbed my hands and kept his balance. He slipped slightly and was very wobbly, making me chuckle as he regained his balance. "Ready?" I asked, he looked up at me from the ground. "Am I ready for what?" he asked and I began walking ahead, pulling his hands which moved the board. "Hh-" he made an odd noise as I pulled him slowly down the street. I chuckle lightly as he wobbles on the board. My previously fluffy and soft h/c hair was now damp and stuck to my face. "I'm gonna let you go now, okay?" I say, loosening my grip on his hands. "Wait-" he started, but it was too late. I released his hands and he gently rolled, slowly moving away. I clap my hands together with a squeal as he steps off the board. "Thank you for that, Y/N. I appreciate it." he slightly smiles, walking back towards me with my board.

"Anytime! I'm heading to the cafe now so you can join me if you want." I chuckle slightly, his eyes widen slightly. "Oh yeah, we got a bit sidetracked didn't we?" he scratched the back of his neck and I nod with a quiet chuckle. "Well, let's go then." He says as I grab my skateboard from off the ground, he gently grabs my hand and intertwined our fingers. I smile and we walk to the cafe. We make it there shortly and I drop the board in the grass that was bordering the perimeter. We walk in amd seat ourselves, gaining the attention of a waitress from across the room.

She smiled gleefully and made her way over to us. We were seated in a booth next to the window, which was my favorite seat. She looked at Todoroki amd then glared at me, scanning me up and down before returning her attention to him. "What could I get you to drink, cutie?" she winks at him. My hand balls into a fist underneath the table, and Todoroki looked a bit shocked. "I'd like an iced coffee, please." He spoke softly, she wrote it down and turned to me. "What do you want?" she asked, causing me to roll my eyes. "F/d." she sneered at my response and wrote it down, walking away. I couldn't help but feel angry, like someone just tore out my heart. I avoided eye contact with Todoroki and the woman returned shortly, placing both of our drinks in front of us. Somehow she ended up flirting with him, and he slightly flirted back.

I slammed my hand on the table, causing both of them to look over at me. "How about you just take our order and then leave?" I mindlessly say in a semi-menacing tone, making her back off. "Fine. What do you two want?" she sneered, I rolled my eyes.  "F/f." I speak without caring anymore. "I'll get the same." he nodded at the woman and she walked away. My hands were now both in front of me on the table, balled into fists. I kept my head down, staying silent until Todoroki placed his hands on mine. I immediately notice how warm his hands are compared to mine, and how soft his skin is.

I heard him sigh and I looked up slowly, meeting his eyes. The bi colored boy looked remorseful and he opened his mouth slightly. "I'm sorry." I pull my hands away and place them on my lap. As if on cue, the waitress placed both of our meals in front of us and walked away. I used my fork and stabbed at the food, poking it angrily. Todoroki noticed and sighed, eating his food quickly. I also ate quickly and he called for the check. I go to grab the money I brought in my pocket but he puts his arm out and pulls out money. "I'll pay,it is our first date after all.." he states, my eyes widen.

"D-date?!" I repeat quite loudly, he just nods. There's no point in arguing anymore. The waitress brings the check along with a note, which I noticed before Todoroki. I slid my hand over and grabbed it without Todoroki noticing.

'Hope my bad flirting helped make your girl jealous :) You two are a really cute couple, hope I helped!'

My eye twitches and I frown. She did try to help and now I feel like shdifnrjdh. I sigh and look up at Todoroki. "I'm sorry Todo~kun." I spoke lowly, he just smiled slightly and nodded. "May I walk you home?" he spoke quietly but just loud enough for me to hear. "Y-you don't have to.." I scratch my arm nervously which just made him chuckle slightly. "No, I'll walk you home because it's night. It isn't safe out here." he smiled sincerely and I nodded. We left the cafe and I walk towards the patch of grass that I left my skateboard, quickly realizing it's gone.

"AW SHIT!" I shouted a bit louder than intended. "hm?" Todoroki hummed in confusion, I turned quickly to face him. "SOMEONE STOLE MY FAVORITE BOARD!" I shouted, I could feel tears prick my eyes. I know it's stupid but still. He sighs and turns around, ducking slightly. "Get on my back." he demanded, I smile and walk over. I jump on his back and wrap my legs around his waist and draping my arms around his neck. He grips my legs to keep me from falling and begins walking. He walks quietly for a moment before breaking the horrible-silence. "Why was that board your favorite? Like, what was special about it?" I feel my heart drop and tears prick my eyes again. "W-well. My mom bought the board for me b-before she d-died." I stuttered out, letting a few tears run down my cheeks.

I can tell he is a bit sad now so I quickly try to cheer him up. "B-but it was just a board, no big deal." I assured him, even though I was lying. He just nodded and walked ahead. "Uh, where's your house?" he asked after a minute of silence. "Well you turn left here.." I point to the road. He just nods slowly and walks that way. I begin directing him to my house, making small talk on the way. "Where was octopus man today?" I ask and he just hums. "Who?". "Shoji, duhh." I laughed and he chuckled as well. "ACK!" I shout in happiness. "What?" he asks quickly, I just smile. "I like your laugh, and your smile. Why don't you smile more often?" I ask and he goes quiet. His head drops and his eyes glue to the floor. "O-oh I'm sorry! D-did I upset you?" I stuttered out, feeling bad that I upset him.  "No it's fine." He spoke quietly and I unwrapped my arms from his neck. "What are you doing?" he asks as I try to tug my legs off. "Well I clearly upset you and I don't like being a bother so I can walk home from here." I sigh and his grip on my legs tighten.

"No you didn't upset me, I was just thinking." He assures me and I rewrap my arms around his neck.
