i finally was back in my bed, alone.

did i have to tell grayson?

does he deserve the truth?

it's not like ethan and i are dating.

we just hooked up, that's all.

there's no need for grayson to know.

i rolled up my sleeves as i walked through the hallway, trying to get to my locker when i see who's standing in front of it. jane.

"i'm really not in the mood to talk." i say as i unlock it, trying my best to ignore her presence beside me.

she nods and crosses her arms, "but do you mind me asking what you did with grayson the other night?"

i shook my head, "shouldn't i be the one asking that?"

"what's that supposed to mean?"

"i don't know, maybe it's just you guys fucking behind my back."

her lips separate as i slam the door of my locker shut, stuffing my books into my bag as i walk away from her but of course she had to follow me.

"we didn't think you would ever find out."

"how the fuck does that make it any better- wait, how long has this been going on?"

her tone made it seem like they had been fucking even when i was still dating him.

"i don't know like, three months. but it means nothing to me i swear. i'll drop him if you want me to."

"get the fuck out of my sight before i can't control myself and do something i'll regret."

"sel if i had any idea that he was cheating on you i would have told you, you know that right?" ethan told me as we sat down on the floor of the library in our usual spot.

i nodded and took my books out because even with all the drama going on i have to keep my grades up.

ethan sighed, "he's such a piece of shit."

i laughed, "i just don't get it. why would he manipulate me like that?"

he shrugged, but everything at that moment started to get to me. i restrained myself from crying because i genuinely hate crying around other people.

"hey, you okay?" ethan asked, standing up from where he was sitting and sitting down next to me.
