Nathan's POV

Open bar night at the piano club just off campus, I don't no what possessed me to stop, I wanted to sing her song, I wanted to share it with the world.

Standing on stage, the crowd is quite big, I sat down at the piano, my fingers testing the keys.

"Thank you for letting me drop in, this is a song called 'Without You', I wrote it for a very special person, who I care a lot about"

And I started to sing:

"A second chance was never something, I thought I'd have to ask for,

I have to prove to you my love is true,

Your dark brown eyes and long wavy hair,

The image of you stuck in my mind,

Your arms around my neck,

Holding you close to me,

I can't have that now I'm Without You.

Without You everything I love is never the same,

Without You my life has changed,

We fit together perfectly, but, I'm still Without You.

I admit I maybe took you for granted,

I hoped you'd always be there,

From the moment I met you I knew,

I never imagined my life Without You.

Without You everything I love is never the same,

Without You me life has changed,

We fit together perfectly, but, I'm still Without You.

There are no words to tell you how much you mean,

I know that now I wish I knew it then,

I hurt me so much when you just walked away,

I wished you would turn around and come back,

But, I'm still Without You.

Without You everything I love is never the same,

Without You my life has changed,

We fit together perfectly, but, I'm still Without You.

You are my Sunshine, my Jessy,

My breath of fresh air,

Without You my world is dark,

I need you to be my light,

But, I'm Without You.

Without You everything I love is never the same,

Without You my world has changed,

We fit together perfectly, but, I'm still Without You.

Without You I'm half the man you made me,

Without You I know I'll never strive.

We fit together perfectly, but, I'm still Without You."

Crash, I look up and see her leave the table, spilling her wine glass in the process, Lizzy is here also, with Marcus. Well at least they are still together. I stand up to receive a standing ovation, as I look back to Jess' table, she is gone.

I quickly rush backstage to see if I can catch her, as I run round the block to the club car park, I see her car leave, I'm to late. Not only have I lost her once, I have lost her twice, as if once wasn't enough.

But she heard her song!
