When you feel your heart beat drop
Its like an instant reaction
When you see the bad you have done
It is a reaction
Head spinning
Heart pounding
Eyes now open
And...
I'm at Jay's?
I sat up quickly
Family portraits hung on the wall
The house was dead silent
A good and bad thing
I stood up
No hangover?
No problem
I looked outside seeing Jay sitting in a lawn chair poolside
I slid open the glass patio door
He didn't turn around
I closed it behind me
He still didn't turn around
I walked right in front of him
He was sipping on a red beverage listening to music was wearing sunglasses and ignored my presence
I sat on the side of the lawn chair ,half my butt wouldn't fit
Uncomfortable
"Your a sneaky little bitch Ms. Pritchet " he said facing me finally
"Look who's talking " I huffed
He lifted his sunglasses up his eyes burning through mine
His green beautiful.....that piece of shit was playing with me
He looked me up and down then placed his sunglasses back on his head with a smile
"Carly your so beautiful its a shame you use it for pleasure with strangers" he said now sitting up and removing his glasses again
I was silent
"I had the biggest dream of marrying you," he said
"I was willing to give up everything for you just because you were my life but then your parents died and that added to the thought of Benny..." he started
"Don't ever say his name" I cut him off
He grabbed my chin
"Carly baby I own you right now you owe me more then you know but all I'm asking is that you tell me why, and if you don't you can leave" he said
I yanked away
"I loved you too Jay so much but you couldn't or wouldn't understand the fact that I was on my own I had nothing left after my parents death" I almost yelled
"You had me" he whispered
"That's right ....had" I said
"And you still do" he said
"How can you prove that" I asked a little more calm now
"Lift up your shirt" he said
"What no" I said
"I've already seen all you have plus no one else is out here" he said
So I did and the biggest bruise was located right below my bra line
I think I might have freaked out a little because I stood up took a few steps back and landed in Jay's pool
What a fan f*cking day
