I walked out into the hallway and saw Jay on his phone

"I thought you left" I said

"Well I couldn't leave you here" he said putting his phone in his pocket

"Oh" I said walking towards the doors

"So how did it go?" he asked

"Got suspended" I said

"What? Why? How long?" he asked

"I got suspended because I called the teacher a boring bitch and she said words don't hurt me Ms.Pritchet" I started imitating her voice

"So I threw a dictionary at her and said how do those words feel? and she suspended me for 3 days  " I said

Jay just looked at me

"So yeah what have you been doing?" I asked

"Just stuff" he said quickly

"Um...okay?" I said

"Yeah so um...hey you want me to stop by tomorrow or something?" he asked

"Sure after school would be great" I said

"Still can't believe you did that" he said

"Well you made me look like an idiot" I said

"But I got us an A" he said

"And me a laugh at" I added

"Hey wait" he said stopping in his tracks

"Your mad aren't you?" he asked

"No I'm just saying " I said

"You are" he said watching me closely

"So what if I am" I said throwing my arms up in the air

"Oh come on Carly it was for school" he said as I started walking

"You just had to do it on me though" I said pushing open the doors to leave the building

"I wanted a good idea" he said

"But testing me then making me look like a retard" I said

"Where are you going?" he asked

"The cars this way" he said pointing in the opposite direction

"I'm walking home" I said

"Fine whatever" he said

I just kept walking
