"I found her was fighting with a gangster and he stabbed her with pocket knife," Jungkook explained as his eyes followed Namjoon's movement. "I was about to wrap her wound but I realize I have no bandage left in my first aid kit so that's why I called you."
Namjoon let Jungkook explained everything without saying anything. His hand was busy wiping the blood and poured alcohol on the napkin. He then gently washed her wound after lifting up her shirt and exposed her flat and pale stomach. Namjoon just rolled the shirt up to her lower chest, nothing more because he didn't want to see Maria's private area. When he cleaned the wound with alcohol, with her still being fainted, Maria gasped and a pain look on her face could be seen. Namjoon stopped it for a while until she got used to it before he continued.
Meanwhile, Jungkook went silent seeing the scene before his eyes and felt his heart ache.
"Why didn't you take her to hospital?" Namjoon asked and Jungkook could notice an anger filling his voice. It was so rare since Namjoon was the kind of calm person.
"You know the nearest hospital from here is miles away and I was afraid I couldn't make it. That's why I bring her here but then I realize no bandage left."
Namjoon sighed as he gave his hands a halt to examine the wound. "It needs to be sutured or it will take long to recover."
"Can't you do it?"
The older wrapping Maria's belly carefully and he gestured Jungkook to help him before answering his question.
"Listen," Namjoon gazed him with brotherly stare. "I'm not a doctor yet and if I do it, it means I do malpractice."
That's right. Jungkook sighed heavily and shifted his soft gaze to the fainted Maria.
"We should take her to hospital. At least now the wound had been wrapped by bandage." Namjoon stood up and tapped Jungkook's shoulder. "I'll prepare my car, you bring her in."
With that being said, Namjoon left Jungkook who was standing there with a blank face. Then, he let out again a sigh as he carefully carrying Maria to his brother's car.

It was afternoon already since Maria transferred to the ward.
The doctor said there was nothing to worry about. The wound was not too deep but it would definitely leave a scar, like keloid, and the bruises would be leaving her skin in few days. Jungkook didn't understand the medical thingy the doctor said, but Namjoon seemed got everything and a look of relief was plastered on his countenance.
Maria was sleeping peacefully as her chest moved upside down. She had oxygen to support her breathing and pulse oximetry on her index finger as a noninvasive test to monitor her oxygen saturation.
Both Namjoon and Jungkook were sitting on the couch, waiting for her to wake up from her dream.
"Did you see everything?" Namjoon broke the silence while staring at Maria's pale face. "I mean, last night when you found her."
Jungkook leaned his back. "Not much."
Then, a sighed could be heard from Namjoon. He looked like he's regretting something and it made Jungkook was wondering why.
"It's my fault."
Jungkook felt his eyebrows crashed to each other. "How could it was your fault?"
Namjoon told everything to Jungkook. The time when he left Maria alone at the coffee shop because she told him to. Namjoon shouldn't let it but that time he knew Maria wanted to be left alone for God only knew why. He knew Maria so well to understand her personal space.
