The lives they spared

"I'm Meliodas, the dragon sin!" There was no doubt about it, this is the same man who had destroyed countries upon countries, such as my old home Danafor.

"We're taking over Vaizel, everything here belongs to us now!" In turn, I decide to scowl in his general direction. I cannot believe I trusted him at his bar, he's nothing like the man I talked to in the bar. And just so that I cannot be justified, no way am I going to believe the phrase "People change overtime." Like Hell I will.

"I'm giving you less than one minute to leave this town, understand?! If you don't, we'll kill you all!" In a horrid mood, set by the brat himself, I walk up to the border of the stage, and I spit on the ground. Unlike everyone else, who ignored his threat, I admit to him, "Then go ahead, it's pretty clear nobody is gonna leave!"

Meliodas looks back at me, a furious rage in his emerald green eyes, "Get the hell out of here!!!" However, before anyone else could notice, millions of explosions had been set off almost everywhere. The whole town had turned into a land mine. Believe it or not, I just realised that they were doing this to protect everyone here-which made me feel a bit more guilty than anything. Despite my feelings, there was a fight that needed to be finished.

"Hm." I clicked my tongue, sensing that it was those figures' doing. After the smoke had cleared, I remained the same as earlier, not a single scratch on me. My heart beat had began to escalate quicker, meaning those figures had dropped to the ground. Hearing the vibrations of their armour on the floor caused me to walk around on my own, heading towards one with short white hair.

She was in the middle of beating up Ban, and although he's a sin, and he probably hates me, I decide the best action is to help him. After all, I play no sides.

Taking out my trident, and putting my hood down-revealing my H/l, H/c locks, I gracefully hop down onto the holy knight. I pierce my trident through her own armour, and it cuts right through like a knife in butter. She begins to cough up blood, to which I smirk at. "Sorry, weren't expecting me, right? I'll warn you next time sweetie." I proceed to stand on the wound my trident had left after pulling it out, causing the holy knight to let out a scream of pain.

While she looked like she was about to fall unconscious, I walk towards Ban with a prideful expression. "You're welcome-" "I didn't need your help." Ah, that hurt my self esteem pretty bad. For the second time, I click my tongue in dismay. "Are you sure? You looked like you were about to die then." Unbeknownst to his immortality, Ban rolls his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. Are you going to help us then?"

I nod my head in delight, deciding it best to go find someone else who needs help, more specifically, a tiny lady on Hawk. At the speed of light, I appear beside the running piggy with my trident on my back. Why, the small lady turned out to be Elizabeth! "I thought you were staying inside?" I ask her, and she turns to look at me in surprise. "L-Lady N/n!"

"It's just Y/n now, N/n is only a nickname for myself." I jog along with them, finding comfort near the two of them. "Are you coming with us?" I hear Elizabeth ask, and I reply to her with a nod. "Yep, I suppose you needed some help." I pause, looking away into the distance as Elizabeth stares at me, waiting for what I also have to say. "But don't expect me to help you if you all bring me on the wanted list."

Elizabeth smiles at me, "That's okay! My father is the king, I'm sure after this mess he can stop you from being-"

"YOUR DAD IS THE KING?!??!?!?!" WAIT WHAAAAAT?

I stop in my tracks, and Hawk does as well. "Um.. Yes." With a deadpan expression, I tell her we'll talk about this later. Of course, her also wanting to finish this fight, she agrees.

Sooner or later, all three of us see King in the distance, along with two unconscious sins. After a lot of convincing, I pick up Meliodas and Hawk drags Ban so all of us leg it towards the houses for safety.
