"Just wait a moment please. Mama is walking slowly because LiAn is heavy." Fai answered nonchalantly.

"LiAn?" Ms. Yue repeated with a smile. "Is that your sister?"

Fai nodded quickly.

Ms. Yue straightened her back and waved her hand. "Come in! You two handsome men. You can wait for them inside."

Fai nodded again with a smile and excitedly ran towards the inside of the restaurant. AhSi was left standing by the entrance door with Ms. Yue.

Ms. Yue clasped her hands and smiled softly at AhSi. "You look very happy, my boy. I'm glad."

AhSi scratched his nose and showed his infamous smug smile. "Sure am! My wife is the best in the world!"

Ms. Yue was about to answer if only not for the small hands pulling her skirt.

Ms. Yue looked down and met a beautiful pair of wide eyes staring at her.

"Hello!" The little girl said. "Where's Fai-ge?" She asked.

Ms. Yue blinked twice and pointed towards where Fai is.

"Zank you!" The little girl answered with a sweet smile and ran inside.

Ms. Yue once again looked at AhSi. "Is that your daughter?" She saw AhSi nodded proudly. "She's beautiful! I'm sure you've married a beautiful woman!"

AhSi just smirked.

"AhSi! Are the kids seated?"

Both Ms. Yue and AhSi looked at the woman who just stepped inside the restaurant.

"Yes, love. They're both inside!" AhSi answered.

Ms. Yue's mouth was hanging open while looking at AhSi's wife.

AhSi reached for Shancai's hand and both of them waited for Ms. Yue to recover.

Shancai giggled quietly at the older woman's reaction.

"SHANCAI?!" Ms. Yue shouted.

Shancai nodded and let go of AhSi's hand to hold Ms.Yue's hands within hers. "Yes, Ms. Yue! How are you?" She asked. She felt her eyes became teary, at once again meeting the older woman, who witnessed the most painful scene of her life. "I'm so happy to see you again."

Ms. Yue unbelievably shook her head and slowly embraced the young woman. "Shancai...my child, I'm so happy to see you again." She said.

Shancai returned the embrace. "Me too, Ms. Yue."

Ms. Yue let go of Shancai and happily wiped her tears. She looked at the two people in front of her and spoke. "H-How? Are you two--"

"Married." AhSi finished for her.

Ms. Yue's eyes squinted in happiness and covered her mouth. "And those two kids are ---"

"Our children." Shancai cut her off this time.

"Oh my heaven!" Ms. Yue uttered in tears and enveloped the couple in a tight hug. "I'm so happy! Heaven knows how much I wanted you two to end up together!"

AhSi and Shancai simply exchanged looks and smiled embracing the older woman back.

"MAMA!"

"PAPA!"

The three untangled their embrace and looked at the two children staring at them.

"We're hungry!" The siblings said at the same time.

Ms. Yue laughed. "OK! OK! Your stomach is so like your papa!" She said. "Let me cook you my best dish!" She added and headed for the kitchen.

Shancai approached her children and gently pushed them back to their table. "Oh you hungry puppies!" She teased.

"ARF!" Fai answered.

AhSi laughed out loud and picked up LiAn.

Ms. Yue stepped out of the kitchen and peeked towards where AhSi's family was seated. She then reached for her phone and took a picture of the family.

Her heart felt full upon seeing AhSi and Shancai interact with their children. She silently thanks all the Gods that are watching the two young parents, how benevolent they are, to allow these two souls to be together again.

A lovely miracle indeed.

A/N: Hello people! I had to browse through the MG episodes to find out the restaurant's name haha! I hope you're enjoying these snippets so far. This is a prompt requested by InnekeNender ~ I hope you liked this!

One of my reviewer at FF.net asked why Fai is always hungry? Well, based on my own experience as a teacher, young boys are always hungry, especially if they are as physically active as Fai! Little girls tend to go hungry faster too if they use their energy too fast! This is just based on my own experience ~ obviously non-scientific te-hee~
