Scalene Triangle x Reader

immediately, you called scalene. you hadn't talked to him in a while, since isosceles didnt want you to. now you realized how stupid it was to listen to him. you listened nervously as you hoped he would pick up. counting the amount of times it rang, it eventually went to voicemail. 

"of course," you thought to yourself, "after ignoring him all this time, why would he pick up now?" even though you figured it was hopeless, you decided to leave a message anyways.

"hey, its (y/n). i know we havent talked in forever, but i really need to talk right now. its ok if you dont want to talk to me, i understand. if you can, call me back please. thanks," your voicemail said.

after struggling to keep your composure while recording the voicemail, you started crying again as you tossed your phone onto your couch. as you trudged to your room with tears trickling down your face, you heard the ringtone of your phone. not just any ringtone, the special one you set so that it would sound whenever scalene called you.

"HIS HAIR? WACK. HIS GEAR? WACK. HIS JEWELERY? WACK. HIS FOOT STANCE? WACK. THE WAY THAT HE TALKS? WACK. THE WAY THAT HE DOESNT EVEN LIKE TO SMILE? WACK. ME? IM TIGHT AS FU-," your phone blared as scalene called you. 

rushing back downstairs to the couch your phone was on, you immediately picked it up and answered.

"hello?"

"uh hey, y/n. you said you needed to talk?" he replied.

"yeah....if thats ok...i know we havent talked in a while, its just..isosceles didnt want me to be talking to you," your eyes welled up with tears at the mention of him, "he tried to control my life..im so sorry-" 

"dont apologize, that wasnt your fault, he didnt treat you right whatsoever," scalene cut off your apology. "its fine, whenever you need me you know i'll be here for you" he said.

"th-thank you." you replied

you went on to tell him everything that happened in the past two days, from isosceles only using you for algebra to finding out he was cheating on you with who you thought was your best friend. just talking about it all forced you to choke back tears, but scalene listened and was so understanding that he made you feel so much better. he was always like this. if only you'd realized earlier.........

"i'm so sorry all that had to happen to you. just remember youre a beautiful, amazing person. dont let this bullshit with those shitty triangle people get you down," he said after you finished explaining.

you wiped a tear away. smiled and even giggled a little as you replied with, "no u." you could hear a small, adorable laugh from the other end in response.

"hey, im gonna go now, but feel free to text or call me anytime." he said

a little disappointed, you replied with, "ok. thanks for listening to me. bye" and hung up. you already missed his voice and the comforting feeling you had whenever you talked to him.

setting your phone down, you decided to go upstairs to take a shower. after the shower, you threw on an oversized rose pink sweater and black skinny jeans. after you dried your hair and put a bit of natural makeup on, you went back downstairs.
