I was driving back to my house after I went to down to Kansas for Christmas at my parents. It was snowing hard, everything nearly white. I knew I had to keep my eyes on the road, but something caught my eye. It was an abnormal lump of snow on the side of the road. I thought I could see it move up and down, so I pulled over, careful not to slide on the icy roads. I walked over to it. It was breathing!! I cleared it of the snow on it and there, underneath the blanket of snow on the side of the road, lay a small beagle puppy. It's breathing was labored and uneven, and he was frozen. He most likely had frostbite and EXTREME hypothermia. I took my penguin/igloo patterned blanket and wrapped him in it, brought him in my car and drove home fast as possible. I noticed his left shoulder was bleeding as blood had started trickling down it as he warmed up. He was truly frozen. I called all the vets in the area, but it was Christmas. They weren't open. I have to put my vet skills to good use. I arrived in my driveway a half hour later and rushed him in.
(A/N DISCLAIMER: I DONT REALLY KNOW TONS ABOUT VETERINARY STUFF AND ALL THAT, BUT I KNOW SOME.)
