Day 03: A song that reminds you of one or both of your parents
You Raise Me Up by Josh Groban
I don't really know what to do for this one. Like, a whole genre kind of makes me think of them. And an actual artist and his songs makes me think of them. But I don't really get into that. The next best thing I could think of is this song.
You Raise Me Up is a song I sang for choir once. My dad heard me practising and told me he loves that song because it had been his father's favourite. Now, if I ever hear it, I think of him.
There's also the whole thing where he requested I learned how to play it on the violin so I could play it at his funeral.
